So my friend let me borrow his Xbox one. Pretty frequently, in the middle of a game, my controller stops working and my character will just go in a straight line until hitting something. It’s doing this with multiple controllers. Any ideas? TIA
LMFBO!!!! No, I was never much into gaming. Mostly just halo and sports games. I used to be pretty good at halo 2,3, and 4, but I’m god awful now
Happens to me sometimes, and it goes in like waves, and this doesn't make sense to me, but the only thing that fixes it on my Xbox is restarting my router. I've literally tried everything else multiple times, and this is the only thing that consistently fixed the issue.
I think I found a fix. Haven’t had another issue since doing this. Found a video on YouTube of this guy saying you hold down the X (power button) then press up then right on the D pad. It does some kind of hard reset of the controller. It’s worked for me so far
That's one thing I haven't tried, so I guess I haven't tried literally everything. Will do it next time. I just know the hard xbox restart, hard controller restart, and updating controller all didn't work for me.
