A boy can dream. How Liverpool could look on first day of next season with two new signings. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...ine-up-first-day-next-season-two-new-signings
It’s the last post on Liverpool’s official insta. It’s an uncut follow of Klopp after the last whistle. He gives quick hugs to the staff but goes in big with the players.
Atlanta peeps, apparently they’re selling the new red and white kits at the New Balance Store off North Druid and Clairmont(?).
from the dutch side of things this looks like a done deal. Bit bummed as PSV was gunning for him as well and I think that would have been better for the kid but still, always good to have a soulless cb
I liked that report that we were going to pay £45m for a back up left back. Would be a hell of a statement about our intentions in the league cup.
If Lallana is staying we’d have 7 midfielders not counting Grujic. Winger would make more sense. But they seem to know what they are doing.
A wide forward that could play on either side is what we need. Dembele makes the most sense because he's two footed. Pepe could work well if we wanted to move Salah central. Mane can play on the right too. Adding one more forward gives us so much flexibility which is why that's our move this summer along with a back up LB.
They’re saying Grujic is going to be loaned out again very soon, but Lallana is a big question mark, especially with those wages I would love me some Fernandes
Feel like the price for Pepe is just way too high, and that he isn’t as flexible between positions as some are making him out to be
He is left footed which is a good thing. Could play left or central. Dembele is probably the only wide forward with pace in the world that is completely two footed.
Kloop apparently told Lallana he wants him for his versatility and Adam is training to get in best shape possible. A left winger would make mores sense than a right one, but probably just go for best available.
That’s what I was thinking too. Origi did a nice job there this year, but it’s really not optimal for him to be the only backup for it next year
True enough, but he can also play on the left side in the midfield or up front, so he’s more than just a £45m backup left back.
Ditto And to hell with the Lallana reports. Does “best shape of his life” mean he’ll play in three games instead of two? I don’t care if he’s a locker room hero
He’s one of the most skillful players with his feet. When he’s on, he’s more than capable of contributing to our team.
Do not confuse activity with accomplishment. He doesn’t go past people, he doesn’t create goals with passes, he just can hold onto the ball and turn a lot.
can you just buy less of em and wait till they are about 22 or something. That way you get guys who are actually at least close to being ready ton contribute (and it doesnt kill their development if they arent ready to dominate u23/u21 straight away)
