He didn’t want to kill who they sent him to kill and when that person expressed interest in fighting those in charge he changed his mind. JFC it is not complicated. I wish I didn’t read these stupid spoilers. It’s not rocket science.
He is from everything ever said or written about him he seems to be a great person. He has dealt with all kinds of fucked up shit that he seems to know life is fleeting and so is celebrity. Can’t imagine not liking him.
Just got out. Loved it, rank it 3rd in the series, but it’s still really good. Bob an having speaking lines and getting a solid front kick in was
I honestly don't know how people could dislike it if they liked the first 2. I don't disagree that the plot has some faults, but it was still extremely entertaining and it set up a 4th movie.
I can't argue with any of that. You're spot on. When I left the cinema after seeing JW2, I had a big grin on my face, thinking "yeah, that kicked ass". Definitely had different feelings this time - frustration, disappointment, even a bit pissed off. And the most annoying part was that it was easily 20-30 minutes too long. There were multiple fight scenes that could have been cut in half, with one in particular being the main culprit. Still a decent movie but easily the biggest disappointment so far this year for me.
Am I the only one who thinks Winston shot him in the bullet proof part of his suit and knew it wouldn't kill him.
Did Winston think he'd survive a fall from several stories up hitting metal railing on the way down too?
The move seemed short sighted by Winston. Couldn’t put my finger on it but it didn’t seem like the type of move he’d make
Just got out. Liked it more than 2, but it peaked early. Best part of the movie was John on the run in NYC. That fucking knife throwing scene never got topped.
Finally got around to seeing this. Pretty much everything has already been covered in here. The first 2/3s were great. The final 1/3 did kinda dragged even though the knife fight was good. The horse scene was cool. The dogs were a great addition and broke up the fight scenes. Halle still looking amazind and her stunts/fight scenes looked good as well. Good to see Dacascos again, while I didn't really like the whole "fan" thing. Idk if there was a different fight coordinator or Keanu was struggling but my biggest gripe was there seemed to be a lot of walking into punches and "wrestling drama" during a fight. Easily the weakest movie in the trilogy but still a fun watch.
If you think about the timeline it makes perfect sense. The movies have taken place within 2 weeks. Wick’s injury still hasn’t healed properly. Remember the doc told him it would take a few weeks before he was good. It makes the movie better and more “realistic”.
The scene in the first one which shows a blood trail of the puppy dragging itself over to die near him gets me. Every. Fucking. Time.
Finally saw it Feel like Winston definitely knew john would survive which is why he had zero reaction to the shaved head chick telling him he was no longer on the street And why instead of shooting him in the head all his shots went into wick’s bullet brood suit
Saw it yesterday. Still in theaters in Charlotte on a business trip. Action scenes were incredible. Killing Boban in the library was incredible. Can’t wait for 4. Him wiping that smugness off of the adjudicator is gonna be top tier silver screen.

I personally thought the middle half was the worst part. Once Halle Berry got involved all the way to the fucking desert tent was turrible.
Worse as they go doesn’t mean they aren’t still good though. I’d probably agree, but still like them all.
