Pretty sure you can't go from a Chase card to a co-branded card like the Amazon Rewards. You'll have to pick from -Chase Freedom -Chase Freedom Unlimited -Chase Slate?
Need a little help deciding my next card: I’m at 4/5 and have a CIP and no CSR/CSP. Doing an Aaviator business to put rent on this month, but suggestions after that?
there's one of these where the divider can be lowered if you're traveling with the person next door and it just becomes a huge bed with two recliners airlines seem to be moving away from these insane first class suites though
My CIP is not showing up on my chase account. because its a business card does it need it's own login?
Yeah, I can’t remember where it is, but there’s a place where you can transfer them between CC accounts - I just had to type in my CC number for my CSR to transfer them from my CIP. I have 2 separate logins for Chase (1 for personal cards, 1 for business cards) because the interfaces are a little different, but if you combine them all, you’re forced to the business layout.
Yes and they can link your personal cards to your business card login. They just can't do it the opposite way.
Personal definitely looks better but the business one is still easy to use. I'd rather have all my accounts on one login then have to deal with two logins.
I put all of mine on business. Don't think there is a huge difference but having all of your cards on one login is huge. Also makes it slightly easier to transfer points.
Any good promotions for Delta AmEx or equivalent? I’d do a Southwest or other airline, but it’s hard to get better fares out of Atlanta on any carrier not named Delta.
http://refer.amex.us/PHILIHfofl?XLINK=MSIA 70k bonus miles, 10k medallion miles, and a $100 statement credit after spending 3k/3months. BrickTamland updated with the offer info.
Anyone have experience with their wives applying for new cards with recently changed last names? Wife recently changed hers, so SSN is updated, but credit bureaus will have her on her maiden name.
it was several years ago, but my wife had no issues getting a card shortly after the name change. SSN stays the same.
Amex can go fuck themselves. They won’t give me my Hilton bonus because they claim my offer was $3k/150k instead of $2k/125k. I know damn well what I signed up for. Fucking bait and switch. “There’s nothing we can do. Here’s a $30 credit.” Pretty shitty way to treat a long time card holder. Fuck them.
supposedly the amex airline credit with the plat no longer works for gift cards on southwest or delta womp womp
I opened the card in December, I put my PSU season tickets and a few other things on it, met my minimum spend, and then followed up when I didn't get the points after the 8-12 weeks and opened a case. Never sent me anything after another 6-8 weeks so I contacted them and they told me the language in my card agreement was for $3k/150k. I suggested an extension for being a loyal customer and they told me there's nothing they could do except give me a $30 statement credit. I'm going to open a case with the BBB. I know it'll accomplish nothing but hopefully pisses them off. I don't know what else to do.
they got me to keep it for another year with the retention offer but imagine i'll get rid of the plat next year Delta Reserve will be a more useful card going forward I think based on my circumstances
Yep. Booooo. The one that really bums me out is the loss of the restaurant credit for PP. I’ve used the shit out of that, $56 at a time.
Is the Delta AmEx $100 Credit always limited to a three month window (assumingely beginning at your card anniversary?)
Two things to store securely - proof of your welcome offer (screenshots/mailers/etc) your personal referral links, preferably in plaintext
In this business, you document EVERYTHING! I even have Secure Message screenshots for bonus matching - never know when they come in handy.
My $300 credit is getting ready to hit on my CSR and SPG Lux. I take it I can no longer purchase the travel gift cards on them to get through the $300 spend?
Don't buy gift cards on CSR Almost everything travel gets reimbursed...use it for uber, parking, whatever
Approaching one year for CSR,CSP double dip. Wait for bill with yearly fee then call to change to no fee card?
So is the consensus that I should merge my CSR account into my CIP business account for ease of use and transfer? Does it work on the app still?
I think we figured out that it depends on your agreement? Mine is available in September, my cardholder anniversary.
