What are we thinking for the Belmont? Like 8 and 10. Need some to throw in a trifecta though. Maybe bourbon war and spinoff?
I don’t think there is a $5k claiming race for Texas bred fillies and mares who have never won 2 races

Hit the exacta. Missed on all of my other bets so lost about half of my winnings. Finished up on the day. Now I’m at the local dog track about to get drunk and make some monies.
Have been waiting for this horse to make his next start for awhile I’ll be putting 5-10k on him to win
https://myracehorse.com/app/#/singleHorseView/140 I’m thinking about buying 10% of this filly this afternoon via myracehorse. They have .1% shares available for $140 They bought her for $65,000 at the OBS March 2 year old in training sale. She has had two really good works in a row, including the fastest of the day on 6/29 of 97 horses It looks like she will most likely make her debut on 7/14 at Ellis Park in a $50,000 maiden race It looks like myracehorse marks up the horse 15% and then the additional money you pay is an advance on the training fees. They’ll never ask you for more money than your initial investment So, if people want to get involved in a TMB horse for a low cost, this is probably a decent one
so is anyone going to buy a share? not often you can get a piece of a horse who worked a bullet who will make her debut in 2 weeks. if we wins by a couple of lengths she will go straight into stakes company.
I am all teed up to buy 4 shares. Only question I have for you is let’s say she wins a million bucks or gets sold for 250k, how do I get paid by myracehorse. They need my wiring instructions right? Do I get a check in the mail?
Also, I’m messing around on the app (not great) but I assume you have experience, does the app provide necessary legal documentation for your ownership stake?
I can try to figure this out for y’all next week But Nick Hines from TVG is associated when them and you’ll find a hard time finding someone to say anything bad about him. So I think it’s all Gucci
Belmont Derby should be a fun race this afternoon - I could make a case for about 8-9 of these to win it. Demarchelier (12) is the one I like the most, though, with my secondary horses being Cape of Good Hope (9), Rockemperor (14), and Standard Deviation (2). No shock that three of those four are Chad Brown horses, and the other (Cape of Good Hope) is an Aidan O'Brien horse. Digital Age (13, the other Chad Brown horse) and Seismic Wave (3) are major threats as well, and they are the morning line top two choices. I just prefer the others more, especially at what their prices look to be.
Won an allowance at Lone Star tonight. Kicking myself for not making the flight up there. Claimed this one for $25k in February and she’s made $37.5k in purses since then. Still eligible for first level allowance races since she won a Texas bred race
Thinking about making a thread about this but I wanted to post here first Last year Danny Pish and his assistant raised a $100,000 fund to buy two yearling horses at the Keeneland September Sale (https://www.keeneland.com/2019-september-sale). I bought 20% of the partnership for $20,000.00. We bought two horses-Trixie Racer and Gold Speed Go. Both are going to make their debut in August or September at Remington Park in Oklahoma. We get weekly emails with pictures and videos of the horses and updates from Danny’s assistant which is a fun way to keep up with the horses while they’re being developed. The partnership has been good because of two things: #1 it’s enabled us to get two decently expensive horses that we couldn’t afford on our own—Trixie Racer was $35,000.00 Gold Speed Go was $45,000. The remaining money went to 5% for bloodstock agent for buying the horses and expenses for transport to San Antonio. Remaining funds were deposited into account as an advance on expenses. And #2 is it helps keep the monthly expenses down. We’re paying $1,200 each quarter per 10% owned, so about $400 per month. Do people have an interest in doing a TMB fund in a similar way. Raise $100,000 and buy two yearlings in September. We could get TMB silks made for the horse to race in, there could be TMB meetups at the races, and we would get weekly updates on the horses that we could post on the board. I would be interested in this if we can get enough people to buy in for $5,000.00+. Danny and his team would control where the horse runs and at which level-no one in the partnership will have any more of a day than anyone else no matter how big their share size. Are people interested in this? If so, I can send you emails that I have received each week as an example. Also, if you’re in San Antonio you could stop by the farm to meet the horses at any time l. I am in for the first $25,000.00. We would make a partnership bank account. The money would be due by September 1st. You would get quarterly account updates. If people are interested in this thread, I can post it on the board as a thread of its own. Let me know if you have any questions
Better sprint performance at Saratoga this weekend: Imperial Hint in the Vanderbilt, or Shancelot in the Amsterdam? I'd lean Imperial Hint because there wasn't a horse like Mitole in the Amsterdam, but you can make a strong argument that Shancelot just ran the best race by a 3YO this year.
Did you guys ever get any legal documentation of your ownership? I got a confirmation email with basically no detail, but nothing else. I need to disclose all non-public investments to my employer for compliance reasons so if I own 1 share of Dancing Destroyer LLC I need to report that.
They aren’t approved in Texas yet. I sent them a check for $7k but they haven’t cashed it. They’re apparently very close to being approved Also it looks like the horse will be entered on August 9th FYI
Dancing Destroyer is entered Saturday at Ellis Park is a maiden race worth $50,000.00. They’re going 5 furlongs My Racehorse still not licensed in Texas so they still are just sitting on my $7k check For everyone who bought a share good luck. Would love them to figure out the Texas stuff at some point this week.
tag me when they get licensed in Texas. My wife loves horse racing so I can’t think of a better Christmas gift for her as it would be fun for her and cost me less than a new purse
Plus we live on what used to be a horse ranch and the streets in our hood are all named after triple crown winners so I’m certain we’ll make the derby with one of these ponies eventually
