Sounds like Wiltfong put in a CB for Watts to Nebraska. Wonder if we go after Redding more aggressively now.
Sucks on watts but whatever it’s not like he was going to put us over the edge. Kelly loves his noodle arm accurate QBs - Pyne’s long toss was the lowest there 49 yards.
the juke he did on one defender where the guy couldnt even get within a feet of him was somewhat depressing tbqh
Yes - but mike frank said a decision is not coming until next week so the coffee isn’t for him. No clue
Long article but good https://www.ndinsider.com/football/...cle_4f734c03-e19d-5309-9f8e-2e50d7fdf1f1.html
Hendrix Everett and Wimbush were the only big arms I remember. So essentially if we do get a big arm qb they couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat.
first of all, happy bday to your country. We should know if we get offord early in yalls morning, would be a decent enough addition to the defensive backfield
Golson was plenty accurate, just a bad decision maker. Hendrix and Wimbush were just too inconsistent in their throws
well id argue that the era we had golson was probably the lowpoint in receiving talent for ND in the last decade. He had a bit of Eifert, all of TJ Jones and the start of Fuller but thats about it. Dont really agree with him not being accurate, i would agree he was a bad decision maker. Its not like wimbush or hendrix where he missed wide open throws though.
So im either going to another college game or to an nfl game the week before the usc game. Which one would yall take Vandy @ ole Miss Georgia @ Tennessee Utah State @ LSU Bucs @ Saints or really any other game thats about a 6 hour drive or less from new orleans
yeah my fav options were probably ole miss and the saints. The advantage of going ole miss is that we could stay in Memphis and drive up, as a saints fan im sort of tempted to go to the dome though
If you haven’t been to New Orleans or a Saints game that would be my pick New Orleans is just a cool city.
Look at the stats and youd be surpised. He passed @67% for 11 tds and just 3 ints. Not saying he was great but atrocious is certainly not backed up by the stats
So he schedule i currently have in mind fly in 2nd of october to NO Stay downtown in a nice place somewhere go to the swamp on an airboat tour on Friday the 4th 5th WW2 museum and treme 6th saints 7th ride to Memphis, Civil Rights museum, Graceland and Rock & Soul museum 9th ride to Louisville????? Stitzel Weller distillery, something else 11th ride to SB ND-USC 13th ride to Chicago 15th fly home
That is a hell of a trip, but I would scrap Louisville for Indy. Having said that I will have spent no real time in Louisville until 9/2
hence the questionmarks. if someone has another idea im good with it too but i want to break up the trip from Memphis to south bend with 1 stop, just dont know yet where. but AIRBOATSSSSSS!!!!!
i think rationally i understand it anyways. Emotionally i get wanting to burn shit down, just dont think ill ever understand thinking that fella is suited for it
That's why I threw in the caveat. The most time I will ever have spent in Louisville will be in September.
yeah if im going NFL im going saints :). Besides I hate jerry, dont want to spend money that he earns. (admittedly i do like his small cameo on the league)
