I’ve been trying to get my buddy, who’s a massive hockey fan, to watch it since whenever I binged it. He just started within the last two weeks and I’m constantly getting texted quotes.
I’m pretty sure I was the first person to mention this show on Tmb. Heard about it on a Canadian hockey pod right after season one. I dont say that to pat myself on the back, but to show how long I’ve been watching this show. I’ve been trying to get my brother to watch it since then. Even Torranced it and sent it to him on a flash drive after the first few seasons. Last week we’re talking and he told me about this hilarious Canadian show on Hulu. I wanted to strangle him through the phone.
Ok, so outside of the obvious winner, Miss Katies, who is the hottest girl on the show? Some might even say Bonnie Mcmurray could eclipse Miss Katies.
I’ll go with Daryl’s gf last season, Anik, since she hasn’t been mentioned yet. Definitely cheating with a former SI model, though.
And while Marie Fred has a few moment in the last season where she looks pretty hot(sitting at the bar discussing the guy at the urinal and sitting at Wayne’s table while the guys tell her and Katy about the McMurray’s escapades come to mind), the actress is actually hotter than the character imo. They kind of “plain” her up for the part. Also think she might have really great tits but she never shows them off.
Bonnie's IG looks like she got some shitty lip injections in her off time. Hope they've subsided before they started shooting.
Have started a rewatch during my weekly flights and just began season 3 last night. Forgot how much I love Dan nearly having a panic attack at Dary and Wayne putting s's at the end of all the fish names. Also, featuring Roald more with the exit of Devon(who was my favorite skid through the first two seasons) has some legit lol moments. The scene where they introduce Gae has some great banter.
Also, fun callback that I'm not sure if I caught on first viewing. While roving reddit amongst my fellow Devon lovers, discussion of Gae's character came up and this got mentioned: "I do LOVE the callback where Gae’s mother shows up in Stuart’s basement and we see her mother is the “too-hard” feminist-psychologist that Wayne dated in S2E3 — that was inspired." The only thing that would have made this better was if she was the women's studies professor that Dan is always talking about, too.
Just tried it out last night, watched 4 eps. I identify with Wayne. People are always getting in his face about shit and he's just :|
Last episode was great. They seriously tied in all of the old stuff and we have hockey again! Edit: Damnit! I just realized I was watching them backwards.

Ok so I started over and watched in the actual order it was intended to be watched. Loved episode 1, 4-6. I still don’t understand the point of episode 3. Episode 6 is great. It has a little of everything in it. You really do have to watch these episodes more than once. Some of the language just needs time to settle in and be processed. The mcMurray cold open was unreal.
