So I have CIP 1 through a legitimate business with an EIN#. I would like more bonuses. I know you can apply if you use your same information with your social for CIP2. Can you use the same EIN twice?
LSU90 or anyone else, applied for my 2nd CIP and got a letter in the mail saying they are reviewing my application and I need to send them a copy of my federal tax ID and proof of legal name and physical address for the business. What's my next move?
Had to do this for my first CIP. DId you apply using an EIN? If so send them that. If you applied using SSN then they just want proof that is the address of your "business". Send them the energy bill or whatever that has your name and address on it. I faxed it to them so they got it immediately.
When they wanted this when I applied using my EIN, I just sent them a copy of the EIN approval letter from the IRS & they approved me after reviewing it.
If I add my fiance as an authorized user to my csr, can I then transfer chase rewards to her name? She's got a bunch of United and Delta points that we'd like to take advantage of for our honeymoon next July, but currently doesn't have a Chase card. We'll probably get her a Chase card (csr/CSP/ink), but just wondering if this a possibility.
The Chase points on your card can’t be transferred to her if she doesn’t have a Chase account/card. If she shares an address with you and gets a Chase card, you can transfer points to her.
Why can't you just use her United account? Do they cross-check the names? I've never transfered points so I'm just curious.
heading to Greece today. Three nights at Academia of Athens (105k Marriott), five at Mystique Santorini (240k Marriott). We’re in biz class on an AA 777 from DFW (230k AA RT) but first slumming it in an old school Mad Dog that’s older than me. AA retires these beasts in September so enjoying the nostalgia of one of my last flights on one
They built them up until 1999, depends on the carrier. There’s a plate on the inside as you walk through the door. This one is 1983
the amount of nonsense in my brain from card rewards and planning trips, and hoops i'll jump through to avoid bad planes is sad but your comment made me check my flight that the MD-88 is on and welp Delta changed my schedule so I have a 19 minute lay over in Atlanta that they didn't email me about so this is a win for me
They’re finally gonna retire those old bastards? I figured they’d keep them going until one fell out of the sky or something
last one is Sept 4 Flt 80 DFW-ORD tickets for that flight were snapped up within hours of the announcement
"elite" frequent flyer discussion groups are ground zero for weird flexes also a treasure trove of Revolutionary War Air Travel memes lately so it's give and take
I love triple 7s. Excited to try the AA biz class as it has been reviewed as one of the best biz class seats for an American carrier
https://www.referyourchasecard.com/217/3FUAHYY4Z4 was just now able to get to a computer and generate a new link. Hopefully this doesn't give that same error message, no big deal if you already got approved
Something I learned the hard way about using Chase UR points. .. If you're planning to book both flights and hotels through the Chase portal, book your flight first, since it will offer you an extra discount on your subsequent hotel booking. Doesn't work the other way around unfortunately.
Been watching virgin Atlantic award seats to do this in the next year or so. Value on that is high high.
We've talked about this before but flyer talk is a fascinating group. I imagine people say this about us here but fuck them we're normal.
I thought you guys might be able to help me with this, incredibly random event though just to be warned, I'll try to summarize best I can. -Tuesday we find out the wife's uncle has passed away in Brooklyn, New York. -Wife's father's side of the family are all from Queens/Brooklyn and we have been trying to get up there for a while with our 2 year old daughter so they can all meet her but it's just been hard to work out logistics and schedules to make it happen. -We live in North Carolina but we decide to go ahead and bite the bullet and drive up Thursday and stay till Sunday (would have flown but I just couldn't stomach the prices being 2 days out and it was nice having the space to bring random stuff up with a 2 year old, that said we won't be making that drive again, that's just too damn long a drive) -We get to New York about 1am Friday morning and get all checked in -Friday afternoon I am checking my email and see that I have a confirmation email for a one night stay at La Quinta in Denver for Thursday July 4th - Friday July 5th, so the night before, also the same night our reservation started in Brooklyn -I called them up to ask about it and they said it was a person with the same name, and my email address checked in at 11:50pm Thursday night and checked out at 6:20 am on Friday morning -So it's the same name as me, my email address, but the credit card doesn't match any that I have, and this is where it gets real confusing, the person that checked in used an address that is in Brooklyn, New York, where I just so happen to be even though I am from North Carolina. The whole thing is so weird but I can't figure it out for the life of me. I don't have any credit cards that match the numbers, can't find that charge anywhere. I check all my credit reports and nothing new has been taken out in my name. At this point I am ready to say it's the biggest coincidence ever, that some guy with the same exact name stayed at a hotel in Denver and has such a similar email address to me that he screwed it up and used mine, but on top of that he is from Brooklyn, NY where I just happened to be for the weekend, even though I live in North Carolina. Guess that's my whole reason for posting this here, feel like I have to be missing something.
it was such a cesspool 10 years ago that I bailed then and haven't looked back, but I'm in two AA Executive Platinum FB groups Two because there was a schism among some of the admins a few years ago. The backstabbing, hostility, and cliquishness put a middle school cafeteria to shame
Welcome to the Chase Freedom revolving quarterly categories game. Inevitably the bonus will be on categories you overspent on the previous quarter.
Luckily this one is on the company dime. Will probably use the miles I get from this to get the wife and I to Rome/Amalfi Coast next year. Definitely will be watching those VA flights for that.
This applies to me too. I need to call and downgrade the CSP. Is the Chase Freedom the correct downgrade or does it really not matter since I likely won't be using it much anyways?
Big fan of the Freedom, but I believe you have to specify “Freedom with Ultimate Rewards” or something to that effect.
My guess: Front Desk staff asked if they had a rewards number, they didn't remember it and gave their/your name. There were two of you in the system and the Front Desk staff member chose your account. The email was associated with it
