Although a tag match involving Shane, Drew, Roman and a mystery partner may make me tune into HR derby for a minute
I like how WWE still thinks throwing together random people for one event and making a tag team match is a great way to run the tag division.
Who thought a good idea in a feud involving Alexa Bliss, to have a sit down interview with Nikki Cross and Bayley and not Bliss....
To be fair, I think WWE is trying something unprecedented. 2 female storylines at once. Will lead to Bliss vs Cross and Bayley vs whoever.
Beat the clock with those two was enough for tonight. Bayley is still awful on the mic, it's a good way to get people to turn on her again. Also Huskus was just behind Ricochet
Really hit a wall this past hour. Been disappointed after a strong week and ok start this week. Was really hoping for Bray. I've had enough of the puppet teases. Debut him or put out new episodes
Pretty sure the janitor guy will be on the apron with his mask, the lights go out, and Bray’s standing there in his mask. No idea where they go from there though.
It’s a go home show and they are finishing up storylines from the vision of Vince. It’s been a fine show
She’s been the heel. Nikki is the sympathetic figure in this story and she just beat her up. They have flirted with the heel/face dynamic with this story
Yea kind of hard to blow every thing up with a PPV Sunday. Was expecting more after last week, but it's still an improvement over recent weeks
What the fuck is point of the Cedric Alexander reveal if he fucking lost?!!!?!? The point of a secret masked partner is he kicks your ass, pins you, and then makes the reveal. Seriously, the more I think about this the angrier and more confused I get. Reigns and Alexander laughed like their plan went off without a hitch....THEY DID NOT WIN.
LAX and Johnny Impact officially free agents. I feel Impact is about to lose quite a few from the top of their roster. Kross, Taya, and Tessa more than likely. LAX is probably AEW bound if I had to guess, the tag division is going to be the best in all of wrestling. Is the LAX named owned by Impact though? Wonder what their new name would be. Johnny, who knows. I can see him going anywhere. He's about to turn 40, maybe he goes back to WWE for a final run. I could see him in AEW as well. Also it was said he wanted to try NJPW before. Either way, he's about to get paid to finish out his career.
I think part of the agreement of paying the wrestlers like shit in tna is they owned their own personas. Raw was the drizzling shits
Just until 2020, idk if it expires early or not in 2020 though. She said in interviews she's there until 2020. That'll be good for them if they get to keep the name, LAX has been around since 2006 as a faction and they're only the current iteration so I wasn't sure if they had the rights to it.
This weekend is going to be nuts, G1 cards Saturday - Monday morning (not sure start time, maybe 5:30am?) and Fight for the Fallen Saturday night. If I was still subbed to the network I'd have that Sunday night as well, plus RAW, etc. Good luck to anyone doing all this live. Going to be a lot of rasslin'. Oh yeah, and the Evolve show for network subs. Damn.
Her contract is up at the end of the year I read. Edit: It said believed Johnny Impact is now technically a free agent, although the two sides are continuing to discuss the possibility of working together again in the future. Hennigan’s wife, Taya Valkyrie, who is the current Impact Knockouts Champion, is still under contract with the company as her deal is believed to run through the end of 2019.
Last night's Raw didnt get me more interested in any PPV matches beside maybe Ricochet and AJ, but that was more last week than this week. Main event was nonsensical and pointless and had nothing to do with the match this weekend Seth and Becky was ok, but I cant get behind watching Baron and Evan's fighting again for a title when neither deserve a shot Alexa/Nikki/Bayley was one of the best angles they had going, but then Alexa was absent and they gave Bayley and Nikki the mic...twice...and their promos hurt that program.
fsugrad99 might be the only one who would know of her, but seems like the TJP champion Shoko Nakajima will be at Fight for the Fallen. They pulled her off their own card that day to let her come to AEW. Interesting, what can we expect from her? she just like Riho and Yuka essentially?
Very similar to Yuka, I’d probably put her second in TJPW as far as in ring. Seen a bit of TJPW as they run regular shows that start at 10 pm CST. It’s a very fun promotion (under the DDT banner) that can be very wacky.
Interested to see who she's facing. Brit Baker and Bea Priestly are both on the poster for FftF. So maybe there will be some tag match involving the 3.
Feels like it’s a minute since we’ve gotten detrimentally horny over over female wrestlers. Here’s the aforementioned Priestley with a Toni storm bikini cameo.
