I just don't see any way that happens. Not after what he did to force his way out 18 months ago. Fucking Sakho missed training and Klopp suspended him for a year and then sold him. As much as I shit on our midfield at times, I'd rather get a pacey wide player than an attacking midfielder even though I did love Coutinho when he was here.

Anybody following Rangers / Gerrard closely? I have to say, in most interviews / quotes I’ve seen and in particular with regard to the Liverpool players he has on loan, he has been incredibly harsh and even when he’s trying to be complimentary or motivational it comes off just very....brutish...like a guy who has “its better to be feared than loved” as his email signature. I wouldn’t want him in the top job for like at least a decade for a number of reasons, but not really ever if this is his man management style and he doesn’t adapt.

We’re definitely leaving it late but we’ve signed a few big names in our squad July 1 or later. As mentioned earlier, the valuations for guys that might not start most league games is out of whack so there is a holding pattern to wait and see what happens with the guys Barca are dealing with. Might be an entirely separate issue but I wonder if the club trying to lock down Klopp for a longer term has thrown them off the par few weeks.
