To me, he always seemed to lack pace. He could make up for it in other ways against the youth competition, but he can’t really do that now.
Just turned 16 in May. Our U17 CM can be filthy with Leyva, Kayo, and Saldana. And if Moses Nyeman gets his citizenship in time, he might be a top 5 prospect in the entire system.
The whole concacaf tourney he was the 10 with Gio/Pepi/AOC/Yow in front of him. Gotta let your maestro dictate the game imo.
He’s more a hell of an opportunistic finisher, just lethal around the 18. Any 2 of Kayo, Leyva, and Saldana can control the MF and get the ball to the playmakers. If Nyeman becomes eligible in time, he could start despite almost being eligible for the 2021 U17 WC. Mega prospect that DCU will make a lot of money off eventually.
Weird that we have too many talented kids so there is a legit debate on the best 11. I bet in the WC we run the 4-3-3 because that’s what GGG wants Wicky to run but I’d love a 2-3-1. Overload the midfield cause that’s our deepest position. Let Gio boss down the left and set up Pepi/Yow at the back post.
LB talent is insane for the U17’s with Bello, Kobe, and Tolkin. Kobe will play CB at the WC, but is a huge prospect at LB. Probably would’ve seen time with the Galaxy 1st team already but his agent is Kleiban and seems to be headed to Europe when he turns 18 next summer.
I’ve never seen Kobe outside of CB but the kid is so damn talented I don’t doubt he could play anywhere.
Never heard of him and couldn’t find him on tansfermrkt, found this article though. Guessing it’s one of those “won’t ever be good enough to see time with Arg so he chose the US?” http://americansoccernow.com/articl...n-scoring-long-gaining-interest-amp-much-more
Busio and Zelalem vs Ferreira and Servania in 110+ degree heat index tonight. Guess Paxton has a “lower body strain” no clue why Cerrillo isn’t playing.
