Depends, gators were faster under urban. Probably why they could not get the kill, florida is shitty now
That would not help me sleep at night, do they actually kill or injure many people? The real gators, the animals. I know all about the gators under urban, they used to kill and injure a lot of people.
That would actually be a nice quiz question for a ticket to the nc game next year on espn. Which is deadliest in the state of Florida, gators coached by urban Meyer or just gators?
If you’re near a pond or lake in Florida I recommend it. Not sure if you saw a few months ago but I posted that a 8.7 foot gator was under my car one morning. I’m between two ponds in my neighborhood and it’s mating season. Luckily you really only hear about small pets getting injured. People usually are unscathed when it’s in neighborhoods. They get pretty scared.
Would not enjoy losing a pet for not being careful enough, frankly that is probably an even worst nightmare than me getting bit .Knowing that I let my pet down and it got killed because of me....can’t even imagine how I would feel with a child
Usually there are signs near water warning people not to get close but some don’t pay attention and their little dog gets to close to the water.
The "black panther" aka black leopard/jaguar has always been high up on my rankings, so I'm guessing it took down like 11 elephants before taking a tusk to the face. I would like to hear more about its recovery though.
Running up to a mother bear with cubs in tow, pointing at the bear and yelling “Go Away” is so astonishingly stupid it’s difficult to put into words. There is no bottom to human idiocy.
Never forget when I was driving down one of the roads here in FL and saw about a 9ft climbing a fence to get into one of the retention ponds. Never knew they did that.
Wonder what kind of matchup it’d be if one of those giant Burmese pythons tried to take on an adult bear.
Same. Bear would just bite down and start taking pieces out of that thing. Plus the claws. Don’t forget about the claws.
Great white shark drags fishing boat around San Francisco Bay for 2 miles: 'Everybody was just amazed' By julia jacobo Jul 15, 2019, 5:37 PM ET Spoiler Golden State Sportfishing WatchGreat white shark tussles with boat A group of people sport fishing in the San Francisco Bay over the weekend got the shock of their life when a great white shark snagged their bait and dragged the boat around for two miles. Joey Gamez, owner and captain of Golden State Sportfishing, told ABC News that he and six others set off Saturday morning with the intent of catching sevengill and soupfin sharks. The boat was near the infamous Alcatraz island around 11 a.m. when a line that Gamez cast began to pull. The experienced fisherman assumed he was fighting a large sevengill, so the group pulled the anchor up and let the fish pull the 26-foot boat around for a bit while they tried to reel it in, he said. "Once we got it to the top, we realized what kind of fish it was," Gamez said. Video posted to Facebook shows a fisherman struggling with the fishing pole for several minutes before the group realized what they had snagged. "First time I've had to pull an anchor on a shark," Gamez said in the video. "...Not sure what it is, but it's a big one." Minutes later, another fisherman took over to try and reel in the behemoth. Once the great white surfaced, they exclaimed in excitement before stating that they had to "let it go." The great white bobbed along the side of the boat for several seconds before Gamez cut the line and it swam away with the bait. Not sure if that's what's happening in the above shot, but orcas are also able to locate and "surgically remove" sharks' livers. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/article150500757.html They are so fucking cool, absolute apex predator. Nothing else (in the water) comes close.
So related to your post and the video above with the orcas and the shark, this popped up on my Apple newsfeed today. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/2019/07/killer-whales-orcas-eat-great-white-sharks/ Looks like this article has a similar video to the one above but with more clips.
