They’re great. They have a good replacement policy, too. My kids destroyed one pair and I ordered a replacement on Monday and they arrived today. Paid $10 for the replacement pair.
Needed something that doesn't slide off my feet during water balloon fights. #priorities Hope these Hari Maris are good.
It actually says on the box that water balloon fights are their key weakness. Should’ve gone with those old lady hippie sandals half the board loves.
Fucked again.I haven't felt this stupid since signing away my first born son with that Apple iTunes Terms and Conditions.
Have an earlier model of these... have held up well for water/camp/hiking use https://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/mens/outdoor/ultra-3-bloom-mens
Have these & they are perfect for water balloon fights, but I blew a strap in an egg-toss competition & for that reason: Rainbow >>>>> Hari Mari
Vivo’s are legit. I had a pair that I worked out in forever and those would be the ultimate water shoes.
Yea, I really dont care if they are vegan or not, it's more the fact that that is the first line of their description on their website of their shoes that turns me off
Took them out for a 5 hr ride yesterday, outbound was great then the wind picked up and made the return hell. One of our buddies got blown out to sea and had to tie up to a kayak before he ended up in Maui.
I have them. Only compliant is the toe started splitting where you see the red line on the soles. Super glue fixed the issue but that happened within weeks of owning them and I was too lazy to return them which their Customer Support team said they'd replace.
Bonobos had a site-wide 35% off yesterday from 2-4. Probably should have posted that in here. Anyway kopped the Jet-Setter Italian Wool
Bought a new roof and new home and auto insurance. Also a new wifi router with a lot of security features I only marginally understand: grouping devices by type and/or by user, parental controls, encryption stuff to protect me from the Russians. Not exciting, but I feel very prudent right now. For the router, one unit is supposed to cover 3,000 sq. ft., but you can create a mesh by placing a second unit if needed. I can say that I am getting the max download and upload speeds I pay for from my ISP when in the same room as the router, and even devices on the other end of the house are operating at about 10x what my old router was capable of doing. Worth it for that alone, IMO. http://build.gryphonconnect.com/order-now/ -- I paid $190 but if you use promo code 346925 you apparently can get a $50 discount. No idea if it benefits me at all.
Also credit to lechnerd for informing me of the Gryphon. He recommended it to me even though it was out of his price range. He was able to get a more affordable wifi solution for his home, so bully for him.
there's a bonobos store downstairs from my office and I have been meaning to go try some on for about a year now and still haven't gbr nfm
Why would you publish that information and give the Russians a leg up, smh. This is what the Amazon description states re: network security: Block ransomware and malware from coming in your network with ESET technology Protect your privacy with Intelligent Intrusion Detection Scan devices for vulnerabilities Daily security updates to prevent the latest threats with 24/7 protection while you sleep. I’ve only ever tried it a handful of times so I’m pretty terrible. It’s still fun to tool around on sitting/kneeling to check out parts of the coast I can’t reach by swimming alone. I can stand on it fine but start to break down when I try to paddle hard. We usually don’t get huge surf here so the waves aren’t terrible to manage. The wind can be tricky for sure, especially on the inflatables that basically act as a huge sail whenever a strong gust forms. One of my friends rides a wood and carbon fiber custom and he had a lot easier time of it compared to me and the dude who got blown out to sea.
Been before but not for some time. Pretty much base out of the North Shore and then island hop a bit. Two weeks. 12 year old son so we are doing some diving, shark cage and surfing for the most part. Any recs from a local are always welcome.
