You can’t tell him nothing. Honestly the lag just becomes a mechanic the more you play and is easily dealt with. Sometimes you get Korea’d but that happens in any multiplayer game
Got drunk Sunday and bought the Playstation VR that comes with everybody's golf and another game I can't remember. I also bought Skyrim. It's pretty cool to play Skyrim in VR, but it's tough to fight and when you turn to the side it clicks over 30 degrees instead of being a smooth motion which sucks. Playing on it for more than 20 mins makes me sick though. Anyone experience that? Random note catching up: There's so many acronyms in this thread. Typing stuff out is faster for me than thinking about what acronym I'd use.
I’m looking forward to it. BB vanilla imo is an easier game than anything Souls but it’s still a challenge and will still require patience. If you get it to click I’d be willing to bet you’d give the Souls series another go
The reason you liked BB is the same reason I just couldn't get into it or any of the Souls games. The lack of an interesting story just killed my motivation to play the game.
Maybe but those are two completely different types of games. Ones a social game where as the other really isn't. When comparing it to other traditional single player type games it's story is shit tier.
The gameplay is the star of the show with From games but they all have interesting and deep stories and lore. The game just doesn’t hold your hand and point it out for you. If you want it, go get it and finding it is as rewarding as the gameplay is
Its really not, it just isnt presented in cutscenes. Even so, if you just dont like gothic/cosmic horror thats cool, then you can focus on just the gameplay. Which is why I compared it to destiny because both games are games you play for the gameplay, not the story. Sometimes thats a blessing. Games will force you through 8 hours worth or tutorials, and i just cant be bothered with such things. Some games, for example monster hunter world, has a hilariously bad story that youre subjected to. Bloodborne forces you to sit through nothing because the story is far more "this has happened" rather than "this is happening" like most games. Its a world that has descended into chaos and its your job to fix it, so theres few npcs and most story content comes from piecing everything together. The story is very much there, you might not want to find it but its there and very well done. Subtlety is big here. Environmental storytelling is big. I mean its a game about drinking menstrual blood, you cant have a cutscene about that shit.
I’ve been playing Detroit recently since it was one of the free games this month. I didn’t expect much, but the story is really pulling me in. Anyone else played?
I'm in the middle of it now, definitely the best version of what Quantic Dream has tried to do over their three games. Feels natural, good story, like it a lot.
I just wanted to say I got Astro Bot for VR and it's been one of the most fun gaming experiences I've had in a long time. Literally have points where I'll laugh out loud because it's just so cool. That's all.
Got the 4k tv upgrade I've needed since getting the ps4 pro last September. Started a NG+ of Spider-Man to take advantage. Bliss.
Spoiler Markus survived protesting at the camp. North died in Jericho. Kara, Alice, and Luther got captured, but escaped the camp. Connor and Hank died at cyberlife but converted new Connor before he died.
TLOU remastered for $15 and get $15 back in amazon credit https://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=19520441011
I implore anyone who hasn’t yet to do this before the sequels released. I know that I’m probably talking to 3 people total but GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER ASSHOLES
I havent, but a friend of mine bought it and when i asked how it was he said "yeah, its an ace combat game alright."
I bought it on steam, played for a bit, then got a refund. It’s good but that gameplay just isn’t as interesting to me anymore.
Just bought EA Access. I hate giving them money and heard BF2 and UFC will be PS+ games next month, but still think $30 is a good deal for one year. I figure I'll get 10 hours of early trial of Madden and FIFA and then play the older versions until the new ones hit the vault. I haven't played any Battlefield game this generation and there are a few other games worth checking out too.
My buddy works at PFF and they get free codes for games like Madden. He is giving me one. He said word is NCAA might be back for 2021 but with FBS teams only. That’s the rumor they’ve been told. /coolstory
Cut and paste this every year and adjust the "be back year" and you have an evergreen rumor that started back when it first went away.
Indeed. Just passing along what he’s been told. I want it back. I bought NCAA 14 on eBay yesterday. Couldn’t find my old copy .
Also, I don’t think it should any longer be considered a bust and the guys at hello should be commended for the work they’ve done. NMS should’ve always been marketed as a niche experience that would grow and evolve and not some out the box mind blowing experience
if it released in the state it is today it would score comfortably in the high 80s and beyond might bump that up even higher.
No, it's Shawn Murray's fault for lying his ass off. Guy made all kinds of promises that they didn't come close to keeping. But props to them for not quitting on the game and making it into a really interesting looking title now.
Would he even have lied if sony gave them more time? Pretty much everything he mentioned was added within a year.
Yeah I think this is on Sony for throwing this out there too soon and applying pressure to get it moving. It’s ambition needed more time. The Xbox guys got it in a good state and the user scores on their end reflect it
You guys give him a pass all you want but I'm not. He lied at every turn about all kinds of shit. Every other dev under seems to be able to not lie and is given ample amounts of time to finish their games. He released a bare bones product missing basically every feature he had promised would be in the game at launch.
