Ouch. Do you know when they bumped it from 24 months to 48 months? I was specifically waiting for this year to get 24 months away from a stupid CSP I did.
New AA card on the way let’s ride Gotta get this grAAvy train going the wife is spoiled by biz class now
FYI - you may be able to churn Citi AA biz cards every 95 without needing a mailer to do it. I’ll find out in about 3 weeks when my next statement closes if the 24 month language actually sticks because I applied for one without using a mailer using the public link even though I’d opened one about 5 months earlier.
Let me know because apparently I’m the only person who doesn’t get mailers. I’m finishing up 3rd CIP next month so will need AA to satisfy me afterwards.
Just throwing out some bait.... I'm signing up for CIP2 tonight Earn 80,00 bonus points with Chase Ink Business Preferred. I can be rewarded, learn more. https://www.referyourchasecard.com/21a/E7CQ0FNWKA
What's the longest I'll be able to hold onto to Diamond status, assuming I don't keep it organically? My Aspire anniversary is in September.
5/24. Apply. Wait three months between applications. Apply again with referral from your first card. Repeat.
I’ll post an update here - FYI, the business mailers are usually a bitch to get anyway...you’re thinking of personal mailers
I know I can call and get it expedited, so I'll have to do that tomorrow AM. I need a new laptop by next Friday and need to get on it
In my Chase Rewards account it says that my $300 Travel Credit has been received. Does that mean that I need to spend $300 on travel so I can start earning points again or the credit has already been applied? If I need to spend, are the gift cards still working for Chase? I know it was mentioned they did away with it for AmEx, but didn't know if Chase was different.
After getting the 7-10 day message, I was fully expecting to call recon today but figured I'd check the app status and I finally got approved for a Citi AA Biz. 65k more AA miles to the bank.
How long do I have to wait before the chase referrals hit my account? Does the user just have to accept my invitation and be accepted for the card? Or do they have to also reach the maximum bonus for me to get my referral points?
I want to say mine in the past have been applied with the next monthly billing cycle. But others with more experience might have a different answer
Cool. About to use like 90% of my points for a flight to Bali and I need those referrals to book one hotel. Think CSR usually gives you a month after flights with some discounts
And I confirmed (or at least had success with) downgrading from CIP to CIC and not losing a pending referral bonus
Chase Ink Unlimited now can be referred. Perhaps I’m late to the party on this but that’s news to me. Anyone looking to get that card should seek out referrals in this thread.
Approved for my first CIP Followed the rec’s. Sole proprietor, 0 years in business, $0 revenue. Approved same day.
Equifax probably owes you $125 https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/cases-proceedings/refunds/equifax-data-breach-settlement
Damn. Fiancée applied for the ascend card from Amex the day before they launched the surpass card. She is getting the surpass, but since she applied for the ascend card, I'm assuming no shot at getting the free weekend night bonus that comes with the new surpass card?
Chase stopped or slowed shutdowns in the Fall of 2018 before this article was written. As far as I know this is not a big concern anymore. By clawing back bonuses you mean taking back points from people they already earned? If so I doubt that, I could see them becoming stricter moving forward though. Also I went under contract for a home purchase a few days ago and have not had any issues pop up regarding financing. Are you sure you got declined or did you get just the automated 7-10 day review?
How do I refer the CIP to myself? How do I make my name and business name different for the second one and what income numbers should I use? Also I have Roman numerals behind my name so should I not use them or what?
Is there any reason I shouldn’t sign up for the 100k signup bonus for the Hilton honors Amex? It has zero annual fee, so I wanna make sure I’m not missing something here. I’ve stuck mostly to chase cards previously but this seems like a no brainer since there’s no annual fee.
It uses a 5/24 spot and an Amex spot but otherwise no. You also could go for the bigger bonus and then downgrade after a year, which is what I would do
5/24 is just chase right? Couldn’t I conceivably open the free Hilton card and some of the annual fee cards and get all the sign up bonuses for Hilton? For 5/24, I’ve already run through a few chase cards, so not sure there’s any that I could get right now anyway. I use the csr as my primary card, and have the freedom and bonvoy card. I’ve also closed two southwest cards and the csp in the last few years, so I’ll have to double check my 5/24 status. Are there any other personal chase cards I’m missing out on? I’m not interested in the business cards so don’t bother mentioning them.
5/24 is just Chase but it takes into account all cards opened from any banks United? Hyatt? That's two of their best cards anyway
Pretty much always fly southwest living in Nashville, so United doesn’t have much value to me. But I’ll definitely look into the Hyatt, thanks for the idea. If there’s a Hyatt referral program, let me know and I’ll use your referral link.
Definitely do Hyatt first and then Hilton after. 50k Hyatt (about 1.7 cents per point imo) is more valuable than 100k Hilton (0.5 cents per point imo) https://www.referyourchasecard.com/m/205/6L5/FVXR/1543766811 If there's a popop you can just close it and still be good. Thanks!
Hmm, now that I mention it, we haven't done valuations in a while. What is everyone valuing their currencies at nowadays?
