I forgot who mentioned them in here but finally found the slightly mighty IPAs $7 for a six pack at Costco. Excited to try them
Taste better than the Daytimes to you? I know they're the same APV but the DT just tasted like a light beer to me.
Tried to order the keto pizza from Blaze again but it's gone from the online menus. Called them and they said you can only order it in stores for now because they were running out all the time. Wouldn't even take a telephone order. Get it together Blaze.
Smoked some chicken thighs after marinating in adobo, and some orange and lime juice. Left the marinade just thick enough to act as a sauce and smoke. Pulled them and put some melted cheese on top, delicious.
I wish there were a multitude of flavors of pork rinds like there are potato chips. I’d eat the fuck out of some salt and vinegar pork rinds.
I can get them and I can only find one brand at Walmart here. Only spot that carries them that I have seen.
I’ve seen a couple of flavors and looked online as well haven’t found much, especially anything that’s reasonably priced.
99 cent stores sale a bunch of different flavors. I just picked up some salt and vinegar ones. They also have BBQ flavored among others.
BBQ, Spicy, and plain are all I’ve ever seen. Watch the BBQ some of them have sugar in the seasoning.
yeah the asian market was an eye opener for me lots of stuff to choose from that add flavor without the sugar
I was just making a hilarious joke based on the premise that long term fasting may kill off pre cancerous cells via autophagy. Not sure if 25 hours gets him there or not
Down 40 since April 1, 5 more to go and then I’m eating pizza. Plan on getting back on the wagon after that and just periodically cheating every couple of weeks in an attempt to maintain.
does anyone make their own cauliflower rice? i tried tonight and it tasted good (small grated cauliflower in a pan with oil and sauteed onion, finished with some butter) but hell, grating cauliflower is difficult. any tips?
i get i can do that. but i'm a member of a farm share and i'm getting a fair amount of cauliflower right now. tonight was the first time i tried grating it for rice was was just wondering if anyone had tips. it still turned out good but it was obnoxious and messy.
yeah. i can try the processor tomorrow i guess. i thought about using a blender but was fearful i'd turn it into a powder.
We’ve bought the Costco bags, s’alright if you stir fry and load it with veggies, but whenever I try to use it as a side or base it tastes watery and cools off super quick. Doesn’t matter if I blast it for 20x the recommended temp/time, always tastes watery and cold. Those cauli-tots are p dank though, but they’ve prolly got a ton of carbs.
This is my problem with it. I have grown to hate it. I never eat it anymore. I don’t do Keto, so I’m doing the sweet potato “rice” that comes in bags. I like it a lot better.
Down about 20 lbs in the last 6 weeks since I started back up again. Been watching calories more carefully and have had 1 cheat meal in that time. Felt terrible after, makes it easier to not want that stuff. I also stopped eating hard boiled eggs and that greatly helped my digestive system being a fire hose. Zero issue with scrambled eggs but for whatever reason hard boiled tore me up. Shout out to the guy that weighs himself every day. I have done the same and it makes me a lot more compliant and also allows me to see how the body reacts to different things. It’s been helpful. Down about 37lbs total this year. Goal is to get to 50 by Novemberish, which will get me back to what I was when I got married 5 years ago. Got a vacation coming up that I plan to eat whatever on, and then football season may be a challenge, but I am determined after getting this far. Rock on boys!
