Lol. I like Chisholm a lot;he could be special, so I think in the long run it'll balance for you guys. But I followed every Gallen start in the minors this year waiting for him to get the callup. I think he'll be a solid #2/#3 guy for years to come. Just really surprised they moved him over Yamamoto, Hernandez or Alcantara.
one of the big reasons I'm so skeptical of Fish Stripes is how hard they cape for the team. Doing nothing but trying to put the worlds most positive spin on this move. They have a lot of good content, but they do way too much defending of Jeter.
Finally had a chance to look at the trades Man they must’ve really really loved this Jazz kid, we had so many starters that were options to trade and Gallen was nowhere close to that list. Guess they were very set on adding bats to the system, as we saw from the draft. Tampa deal feels like a steal, and more along the lines of who we expected to let go.
I’m fine with trading strength for weakness, but get someone who isn’t hitting .208 and striking out every third AB in AA
Feel like they really must have taken advantage of how desperate the rays were with minutes left in the deadline because neither Anderson or Richards are great
It’s a smallish sample size, but Sanchez has really struggled in Durham. Think the thought is that his bat won’t play as well as they once thought.
Your guys waived your best RH power bat in Cron last year only to trade for a carbon copy of him today in Aguilar They also traded for Mike fucking Zunino
