Spoiler Thought today’s ep was kind of boring. I’ve been on team homocide from the beginning, so I didn’t get much out of professionals telling me I was right. I want to hear more about Christian’s multiple phones. No doubt in my mind that Whitley somehow sent those suicidal-sounding texts from his phone.
Just started listening to Your Kickstarter Sucks. Held off for a while because the premise is kind of dumb but its absolutely hilarious. The kickstarters are just something for the hosts to riff off of - hardly the main topic of the show. Highly recommend.
Really like Obscura, true crime pod. Very similar to Casefile but episodes seem to rarely exceed an hour. https://www.obscuracrimepodcast.com/
Yesterday’s Comedy Bang Bang was great. I’m a big Pardo fan to begin with but Carl Tart killed it. Jimmy calling him Juice the whole time was great too.
What I think could have happened is that he did off himself then there was some fuckery with the roommates after the fact. But why? Or she stood there screaming some nasty shit encouraging him to pull the trigger. The calf lividity, rigor, and bullet hole/residue from the wall make it pretty clear something was up.
I was listening on the way to work this morning and wondering if Robert was inspired to tackle the topic by this tweet thread: I saw it posted on here (Trumpocalypse?) last month and it's pretty much all the same info. I know that gwensyder account is in a similar Online orbit as BtB.
I’ve got way too many podcasts I’m subscribed to at this point and no way of keeping up. Adding BtB didn’t help.
Feels like there haven’t been any good true crime podcasts that follow one story lately. Last good one I heard is to live and die in la Please come crucify me by posting good ones if I am wrong
I have listed a shit ton for you guys (see posting history), including culpable, but honestly crime junkie is what I stay with - just take it episode by episode (which is what i do on my commute).

Spoiler: Culpable Time of death estimated at 12-2PM per latest ep. Dylan made sure to say that he was seen and talked to people at CFA and Best Buy in that time frame. He was setting up an alibi for that time. Fishy. Edit to add: I was listening as I posted. Just heard they tried to bring murder charges against Dylan and Whitley that were shot down via grand jury.
This is me especially this time of year because I'm addicted to fantasy football / football gambling podcasts for some reason.
I binged season 1 of Bundyville. That’s a really good podcast. Wanted to clear a few others in my queue before I binge season 2.
This is probably my favorite along with The Late Round Podcast. Action Network one is good too, and I like The audible football guys one. I'm subscribed to Fantasy Footballers but I have a love/hate relationship with them. Big Youth Pastor Energy from those guys.
***Response was to RACER Full disclosure, I'm not a huge fan of anything Pain Lindsey has touched. I feel like he or his peeps edit things in a way to add to the drama and that's why I tend to listen to the Casefile style of true crime. So, yeah the receipt. I think the narrator mentioned in an earlier episode that it showed the correct amount of food and fit his timeline. What I found interesting was the guy saying specifically to the cops during his interview that he knew the security guy who watches everyone in the store and that he spent time talking to him. Stinks of him setting up an alibi. Same with running to the bank without a pin to do a withdraw. Adding that the specialty guy saying that rigor had set in and that was substantiated by the EMT. Also, how the blood had settled in another area of his leg and that would be ''inexplicable". Also, also where they found the gun. Also, also, also the blood on the outside of the bathroom door.
I just started S2 and I'd recommend moving it up in your queue. It's even more compelling than S1 to me so far.
Finally working through my backlog of season 2 of Crimetown, enjoying it just like the first. Helps not knowing anything about the cities.
Detlef Schrempf, what’d you think of the 30 for 30 podcast about Donald Sterling that dropped yesterday?
Also, for the Culpable crowd, I’ve been team homocide from E1. No doubt in my mind Christian was murdered. But I think Matt and/or Jeb Miller were somehow involved.
I have been listening to this pod recently. Stories they share are interesting and the main host is a decent story teller. But fuck Brit. She has no purpose.
i ended up having more contempt for donald sterling's wife than him by the end of that 30 for 30 tbh he is 100% a piece of shit racist but her maneuvering to seem like a good person in the situation bothered me more for whatever reason
Im through 5 episodes. How many are there gonna be? My issue is that it’s drawn out a little more than it needs to be but the same could be said for most podcasts in this format. I am enjoying it tho. Right now, I’m still leaning towards suicide. I’m being open minded tho and want to hear more. It’s intriguing for sure
