I feel like this is a really dumb question. Can he write off gambling losses as an expense since it is used to generate content? There has to be something in the tax code that prevents that.

 

I believe you can only write them off towards any winnings you had. Not sure if the new tax code changed that.

 

Might be somewhat of a legit business expense in that regard?
