My wife thought captain marvel was the worst of all the marvel movie characters/movies. Said it was just a woman power hype show.

As long as we’re all bitching. I haven’t rewatched but I didn’t like making Mar-Vell an old lady and I didn’t like the No Doubt song during the fight scene at the end. Thank you for considering my thoughts.
Except for Strike Eagle pilots. Those guys are awesome and are a major contributing factor to my tinnitus.
The movie itself was saved by “why would I turn into a filing cabinet” The lead was just empty and boring.
Seems mean spirited. And if my fiancée banged Bree Larson I’d be hurt but I’d understand. Also the biggest assholes are U-28 pilots.
Hulk’s snap is the same way in EG. You’re humming along, having a good time reliving the past, the stakes are high but you’re enjoying the ride...then he snaps and shit is everywhere for the next hour. You’re hard, you’re crying, you’re trying to find the closest hand to you to hold...it’s just a mess of emotions.
I really hope there's a Disney+ series set in the five years after the snap That really interests me. What were people doing?

Been avoiding this thread for months. Saw Endgame last night, I enjoyed it. Didn't think it was as good as Infinity War, but they put a nice little bow on everything. Was worried I would miss some stuff since I didn't see Captain Marvel, but she was in the movie for maybe 5 minutes.
I think if anything it showed that Larsen needs someone to play off of. Scenes with her and Jackson were great. Movie was just ok
Captain Marvel got better for me the more I watched it. I think the problem going in for me was the press tour built it as this amazing female empowerment story and I just don't think it was that in terms of the story they actually told. It was entertaining, though, and once I got that expectation out of the way it was fun.
