My friend saw Snail Mail last week and said Clairo came out. I was like the YouTube girl? Turns out she is pretty legit
thanks for the reminder on this one. theyre from austin and had a few friends rave about it. love it so far.
after the listening parties last night, bon iver has put essentially the whole new album on their youtube/streaming services so far this was a stand out for me apparently it's up in the torrance world as well
I don't have streaming stuff but this articles embeds them and it looks like the full albums are up https://pitchfork.com/news/listen-t...ter&mbid=social_twitter&utm_social-type=owned unless im looking at those players wrong
That David Berman news sucks so much. I learned who he was at The Stone Fox in Nashville and started noticing him there all the time He dealt with addiction and mental health issues so at least he's not suffering anymore
man the song names on the new bon iver record are triggering to me just name them something normal so people can say them
Joseph D'Agostino from Cymbals Eat Guitars is putting out music under the name Empty Country and he'll have an album out in 2020. A couple tracks embedded below
it's a great album that is halfway between the style of the self titled and 22 a million I think I would've liked 22 a million more if it came after this because it was such a strong diversion from previous stuff but that album has grown on me over time
I'm trying to get invite only tix to a show in a new venue in Brooklyn tomorrow that the Fader is hosting. I rsvp'd. One of my friends from the neighborhood runs the Fader. I am not the kind of person who likes to call in favors, but I am considering it.
I know. I am so conflicted. I had a falling out with the guy a few years ago over stupid youth soccer drama, but then his wife passed away at 40 from colon cancer and we have since made up and are good. Hmmm.
Getting Gizzy tonight Agreed. I'm pretty much obsessed actually. First album on Sub Pop out November 1st
