People are stupid and aren't paying attention. Wait until they notice how much their 401k is tanking.
Great, I thought we were trying to stop mass shooters, now we're just going to let foreign video games radicalize our sweet, white youth?
Ah cool. Just our president joining in with Right wing trolls throwing out slanderous comments toward certain ethnic groups.
My dad was watching Wu Assassins on Netflix and he described it as, “that new show about the karate chinamen.” Which is racist but I laughed trying to figure out what the fuck he was talking about.
My father still calls Asians orientals quite a bit. Kills me and makes me nervous to take him around any form of Asian culture. Disclaimer: He voted democrat last cycle at least
If you take my nuclear family (parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother) and both sides of uncles, aunts and cousins, (16 cousins on my Moms side, 24 on my Dads) my oldest cousin on my moms side is the only person I share blood with that isn’t an evangelical conservative. I got off Facebook in 2012. *my brother may lean independent but he lives in Turkey so we don’t talk much American politics when I see him
I’m wrong quite frequently but I was a day 1 founder of 2 clubs 1. Fuck Maga Haberman 2. Stoolies are irredeemable pieces of shit who probably follow a lot of “total frat move” accounts on social media and think they’re hilarious
Barstool is for grown men who still wear screen print t-shirts made for that funny thing that was in the news that one time.
I’ll never understand people who hate blacks but watch football and root for these teams. It’s too confusing for my brain.
Is there some kinda “hail hydra” equivalent for qanon people that you can whisper in her ear to blow her mind?
"entertainment" has always been seen differently. We're there to amuse them in that context and they separate athletes and entertainers from blackness. It's why they get so upset when they speak out. It disturbs that separation.
I come from an upper middle class suburb of Houston where there’s most certainly racists but growing up I never hear a hard R dropped in public to my knowledge. Ole Miss had a black transfer QB named Brent Schaefer my first year there. At the very first home game I ever went to he threw a beautiful out route for a first down and the white student next to me (who I didn’t know) turns and says “we may have ourselves a badass QB.” The very next play he throws an interception and the guy turns back and says “there he goes being a n* again.” I was absolutely stunned. I couldn’t reconcile the idea that he was a QB when he was good and a n* QB when he was bad. I still can’t.
https://www.thedailybeast.com/curt-schilling-backs-pro-trump-qanon-conspiracy-theory this took me 2 seconds to find
looks like he posted/promoted a qanon video making the claim https://www.thedailybeast.com/curt-schilling-backs-pro-trump-qanon-conspiracy-theory
I was pretty fortunate to have my paternal grandfather’s experience with race still affect our family in my generation. He became a union organizer in his late teens and early 20’s right before WWII. Coal mines in eastern Ohio. Every time management would try to break a strike, they brought black work crews under armed guards. The strikers were all white. The strike would devolve into everyone going ape shit about race and no union. He was among the leaders who convinced the membership to integrate, to avoid the problem. Once they integrated, he then had to be proactive in stamping down the racism that was still there among workers. It’s never been funny to tell racist jokes in my family. I don’t ever remember a hard R ever said by anyone on that side. My moms side was very different.

He doesn’t claim anything about Sandy Hook in that link. Maybe I am being pedantic, but I don’t really equate sharing a crockpot video that includes a section saying that Sandy Hook was orchestrated by some cabal with Schilling “claiming Sandy Hook and Parkland” were hoaxes. I was wondering if he’d ever made claims about them, since the tweet was authoritatively written. In case it needs to be said, Curt Schilling is a total morondipshitlunatic, and he should be jettisoned into space for eternity.
The issues for lots of Italians is the association to the mob that the name Fredo brings, Italians aren’t too fond of mafia references being used to describe them.
It's not really a mafia reference though. Yes it's from godfather 2 but the insult is that he's the idiot son of a powerful father. It's why it works for Don Jr also
You just know Portnoy is going to say it was a joke and part of his shtick. I hope they unionize just to see the meltdown.
