This is what COD does....sucks you in with some really well-done videos and then puts out their same yearly product that is like 75% of what it could/should be. With that having been said, I enjoyed BLOPS4 more than any other COD in the last 4-5 years. Their BR was great until Apex was better.
I understand that, but I will just say it wasn’t some “well done videos”, it was just live gameplay from streamers. It looked good. They want the gameplay to be slower and more tactical. It looked like COD with flavors of pub/siege
I enjoy video games and even game on my pc (though to benchmark myself, I use the xbox controller - not a keyboard) and I look forward to COD, including the feedback from gamers and critics. In college, I picked up the new COD release yearly. As of now, I've skipped 3 in a row and intend to pick up this new one.
Also, I somehow just realized that there was a 3rd Borderlands game released (The Pre-Sequel) and its on GamePass. Golly that makes me happy.
How did they get me? The game looks interesting and I’ll play the free beta? Damn u right I’m cooked. Overcooked even.
Would I buy the game as a standalone? Absolutely not. Will I play the shit out of it on Game Pass? Absolutely.
Super Vegeta and I played for a few hours. I don’t generally like looter shooters too much, but I really enjoyed this. It’s just well made and fun. Best way I can describe is Division (co op, looter shooter, guns heavy, use cover) meets Dark Souls (style, punishment, crafting/items, melee gameplay). Will definitely be playing more.
Stellaris is on GamePass today, gonna be playing the shit out of that. Also Devil May Cry 5, something I know nothing about, but people seem excited.

Really? As someone who put hundreds of hours into it I think it’s become a shell of what it was. And it seems like they might be aware of this since it feels like they are going for a cash grab with the latest update/the developers are getting into pathetic fights on reddit with players
I’ll check but I’m still addicted to dead cells for now, I’m on the third difficulty tier and it’s soul crushingly difficult.
It's still the best first person shooter imo. The money grab doesn't bother me because its just cosmetic, and at the end of the day it's still a free game.
Such a good game. Have really dove into it lately and I’m completely hooked. This new season is without a doubt better than the first. Hoping they continue to build it out the right way
Agreed on the cash grab part. I could care less. Just think it’s indicative of larger issues. As is devs scrolling thru countless posts of constructive criticism & real problems to angry fans and getting into a public name calling efight with them. Hope they turn it around
Remnant is a lot of fun. Can’t recommend it enough. I will say that it is most definitely not Dark Souls with guns. It’s much easier than Dark Souls thus far and you don’t lose your currency for buying and leveling from dying. Still a lot of fun to run around with a shotgun and a huge hammer.
I’m on two boss cells, and it kicks my ass all the time and I keep coming back for more. I’ve never been more frustrated or satisfied by a game.
What level of difficulty are you playing on? Normal is much easier than Dark Souls. As someone who has played all dark souls, Hard is very, very comparable.
Are you at the jungle world yet? Cause holy shit that place kicked Space ’s ass and I was perfectly fine and never got hurt even once. For real, fuck the jungle area though. It whooped my ass last night on hard. I’ve beaten all the dark souls games as well, but outside of dying not being nearly as punishing, it feels pretty similar but with guns. Bosses usually beat my ass a few times until I learn their pattern. Unless you’re the fat guy with a hammer, if you’re him then you’re my kryptonite.
Ah yes I’m playing on normal. I’ll ramp up the difficulty and start over. I no hit, no bonfire, no deathed Scholar of the First Sin and have beaten DS1 and Ds3 thousands of hours as well. Feels less punishing for now. Idk if ramping up the damage dealt to me by each hit is going to change that feeling. Here’s hoping. Still, absolutely loving it so far and at $39.99 it’s a great value.
Space is just upset that the inventory of a death box isn't clean and tidy anymore in Apex. Apex is the best FPS out there. I don't care at all that they did a cash grab....but they still could have done it better. I wasn't even slightly tempted to spend money during this event. I did buy $20 worth of coins so I could get the battle passes (season 1 & 2 and now I've earned enough for season 3) though.
CODMW Alpha on PS4. Looks OK. But have only seen 2v2 mode. If anyone has a PS4 and tries it lmk. *insert comment from Taco Sa1ad telling me how "they got me again" cause I'm watching gameplay*
