Yeah I don't care what the national media says about what's a failure or not. If they make the playoffs I'll be estatic. If not, whatever.
Any update on if the starters are playing tonight? I saw some teams last night still head their starters out on the dress rehearsal week. Wasn't sure if Browns were planning on playing their starters for a half or so.
the last i heard was that baker said he wanted to play an entire half. that was on Tues or Wed though.
I'm really interested to see how they use Avery this year. He was one of our best defenders and I hope he's not just used as a third down specialist
from what i've gathered he's strictly playing edge and is used in a lot of sub packages where they're moving Myles inside and lining Avery up right beside him. That duo has essentially been unstoppable.
Offensive line played like shit, receivers sucked and Baker missed some throws. Hopefully we got that out of our system. The OL is a real concern. Kush got thrown around and the tackles got worked
No Seibert love? He looked like a completely different player tonight and probably locked up the starting spot. Our defense is nasty. That DL isn’t fair. Baker will be fine once he gets his weapons around him, the receivers and OL didn’t do him any favors tonight. I’m extremely concerned about the RG spot.
At this point I say give Forbes a shot and see what he can do. Watching Kush chase around his man tonight was alarming.
For some reason we had to release a player who did not have to clear waivers in order to keep Forbes and place him on the IR. At least, that was my understanding.
