I laughed at my wife when she even mentioned calling Popeye's. Of course it was disconnected. Day 2. Same signs posted. This location has closed the lobby. No idea if this was due to sandwich-less rage induced customers or what. Heard the guy in front of me ask when they'd get more in and all they said was they weren't getting any in today. Tomorrow's another day.
It really depends on how close your Pop’s is to CFA. Close in proximity, then it is busy. Pop’s in an area that causes people to say “where is the closest Pop’s?” then it is probably not too busy.
Struck out again. Line was wrapped around building into street. Fuck that, but at least it means my local Popeyes finally got it
I don't think I'm making anymore special trips. Failed 3 times now. I'll give it a shot next time I'm near a popeyes with a reasonable looking line.
I just don't think the upside is there. I'm 25 minutes away from my closest popeyes. Pass a CFA and Wendy's on my way home from work and there's a local spot across from my house. At some point, convenience matters.
What are the odds I can get one in the Atlanta airport today? About to takeoff and have a layover there
CFA also gave me the wrong sauces on my last trip just a few days before the madness hit, they must have sensed the impending storm coming
Coworker hasn’t tried the Popeyes sandwich yet so we tried to go get one, they were sold out. Went to CFA and got a spicy chicken combo quickly with no problems and they gave me an extra drink for free.
I got blanked today also. Then got trapped in the parking lot by the giant line that had formed while I went inside to ask about the sandwiches
Exactly what I expected out of that guy. Means nothing except devine and the other stoolies will vacate the Popeye’s drive-thrus and give the rest of us better odds.
People I’m with insist on going to get the sandwich, and I keep trying to warn them and to not get their hopes up Will report back shortly
Had a friend do this last Friday. He was like "Man nobody ever goes to the Popeyes by my office. I'm gonna go snag a few during lunch." He spent 45 minutes during lunch standing in line and then took his L. He was not happy.
It was the same day. My reply to his "Man they are out of sandwiches! This is some bullshit!"text was a picture of 30 in the back of my truck.

Just had my first "out of sandwiches" experience. I actually wasn't even heading to Popeyes but totally forgot their was one nearby and figure fuck it for a quick dinner. Thought I had stumbled upon the holy grail with no line. Hit me with the sign on the door before I even got to the drive through .

Drove by the local Popeyes last night. Still not on the menu. So, took the fam over to CFA where they gave us an extra chicken sandwich and extra waffle fries with our order. It was a very delightful experience. Almost like it was their pleasure! Anyways, I guess I should take that to the CFA thread...
