It looks just like this but with projector headlights. I'll get some actual pictures when I pick it up.
I've spent close to 3k on my F250 in the past 2 weeks. Ready to live that sweet Toyota life again. Wish the Tundras got a little better mileage, but I am close to pulling the trigger regardless. Wouldn't mind a 150 with the 2nd gen 3.5 EcoBoost either.
Putting down payment money back for a small farm we have our eyes on. Plus resale value is pretty good on uses vehicles right now. Not a necessity that I sell it, but short of downsizing on our house or selling the wifes Kia that is upside down in value, this makes the most fiscal sense.
Nawp. Gas. 3 valve 5.4l. Fuel tank straps, exhaust including manifold studs/resurface, tires, ball joints and axle/hub seals.
Had a new F150 for the past week as a loaner as my 07 was getting worked on (steering rack was bad) and lot tech ended up backing an ambulance into my front bumper (so new front bumper on the dealer for free), man those things drive so nice.
how'd you know the steering rack was bad? Ive got an '08 that has something going on with the steering, but im not 100% sure what and feel like all the shop wants to do is "try" this part, then "try" another part if thats not it.....
It was leaking power steering fluid all over my driveway. I filled it up on one night, drove it half a day next and the following day power steering fluid all over my driveway again. It was either a gasket or the rack per my buddy who is a Ford mechanic. The fluid also looked very dirty. What exactly is your truck doing? Sometimes I go over to this F150 board and so some research or ask a question, specifically the section for our year trucks: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/ -- it's a wealth of knowledge over there
Got this about a month ago. 2015 Ram Big Horn. Debadged it a little, tonneau cover, steps, and more tint.
For some reason people like to shit on Rams (DC product a big reason I'm sure) but I've had a 2015 for 2 years and it's been great. I know people who've owned them and nobody that I know that's actually owned one has ever said a bad thing about them.
It really is just noisy, like a whine. I was thinking it is the power steering pump whining, but haven't done anything because it still works fine. Then I had an alignment done on it and that guy said he thinks it's the rack making it make so much noise.
How many miles are on your 08 bigred77? I am really itching for a new truck, but damn I only have 108k on this one.
Mine does too, have had to fix some things over the years, but that just comes with age. Have you done anything to it at all? I recently just got some 20" wheels and tires off a 2015 for 300 bucks, couldn't pass that up. Really freshened up the truck.
2008 Master Race, checking in.... Mine just hit 155000 on Monday. Runs great but the struts and shocks are starting to complain when it gets cold (Cold in Dallas, lol).
5.0 V8. 3.55 rears. AC seats. Edit: 36g tank. 8k miles. $37k Never was a pickup guy. Can't believe I've been missing out. Much excite.
Was my friend's. Fucker has 13 or so Cars and 2 bikes. So he gave me this $54k msrp truck for 37. It's prob around 40ish. It's incredible. He simply never has time for it. I shopped around with him for days til he finally said it's not worth buying a new Silverado with limited amount of features for 45k (RST I got quoted) and talked me into this. Not exactly twisting my arm. Downside. I'll lose my mind if it gets a dent. The Aluminum body makes me nervous.
Wish I could get a truck again but I cover 1/3 of Florida with my job. Have to stick with the hybrid accord for now. Maybe when the Tesla truck comes out I can get in this thread.
Supercab suicide doors look great. And are more functional for work. But fuck me if someone bangs into me in a parking lot hahaha. BTW was going to ask about the Ecoboost and your thoughts. But he was adamant there's no reason to want a work truck that you need to rely on to make money and have to deal with turbos blowing and all sorts of shit. The mpg doesn't seem worth in the long run anyways.

Yea mine takes forever to fill up at Costco; and there is always a line waiting for my truck to get the f out of the way.
As you seem worried about denting the truck? You might look into putting a ceramic coat on it yourself. You can get the stuff to do it on Amazon and it’s fairly easy. Just tedious. It won’t stop dents, but it will help you keep it clean and the paint looking sharp for a couple years.
It’s a truck. Go put a dent in it in an inconspicuous location. Boom, now you no longer have to be worried about the first dent.
Still probably takes the same amount of time as someone else since most people at the pumps at Costco are fucking idiots - sure, you’ve only been in line for a few minutes, but let’s wait until you pull up to the pump and get out of your car to finally start looking for your Costco card and credit card. Then when you’ve filled up, by all means, get in your car, look at your phone for a minute or so, check your makeup or whatever the fuck else you’re looking at, and then finally start your car & drive off. #triggered
I do take a photo using my phone of all my fuel receipts using quickbooks every time I fill up but it only takes 15 secs or so. If someone was waiting behind me at the diesel pump I would probably just pull up and do it there.
we sold our boat, so guess there was no need for my F250 anymore.....traded it in on a new Tacoma this weekend.
It's a small DMV and he felt they wouldn't be as slammed. But it was like everyone's lunch hour. Anyway the lady was chatty. And very ”helpful" so to speak when I paid the taxes on it.
Want a hard tonneau. Trifold or what not. What should I get. Don't want a roll up because I see reviews theyre noisy and I don't want some prick to cut it to see what I'm keeping back there.
These are good https://bakflip.com/p/bakflip-mx4-tonneau-cover/v/ford/f150/2019/ I have a soft cover that came with my truck, but when I get a new truck, definitely getting this one most likely.
