Popeyes mash reigns supreme over any other chicken joint side by considerable margins. Please respect my decision red beans and rice people
Nice of you to share with the passenger seat... Spoiler Dirty ass seat... love you w2b my FSU and sim league brother
I can't speak to every market but that's not even accurate for south Louisiana wages. Our (LA to the layperson) minimum wage hits $12 next year and we also don't get a tip credit (I think that's terrible for employees and business owners but alas).
My location heats the mash in a microwave in view of guests - still have probably ordered it a time or 2 because the gravy woman seems to know what she's doing.
I don't feel bad for them having to face a week of adversity at their jobs. It happens. Definitely think they should have used that opportunity to demand a raise.
yeah its definitely usually easy sailing working 40 hours a week for minimum wage at a fast food restaurant
Something about economic inequalities makes this post a little tone deaf. Near minimum wage employees do not usually have the financial stability to risk the ramifications of demanding a raise.
I disagree. They can certainly demand a raise. If they get fired, there are plenty of other minimum wage jobs they could slide into. Now, whether they have the drive/courage/balls to do it, that's a different story.
Fair point, but if that search takes longer than a week it could severely damage their livelihood. They might be living so close to the edge that they cannot afford to miss a single scheduled hour.
I believe that if a raise is asked for in an appropriate way, even if the request can't be met, the employee's job will still be intact the bulk majority of the time...unless the employee decides to end it. But I'm also naive at times.
saying "just get another min wage job" to people who likely are living paycheck to paycheck isnt feasible. they can't miss one shift much less one paycheck which would be the result of them just having to find a job at a moment's notice you can't just "slide into a new job" unless you're fine not eating for a week at best
I fall back on the assumption that asking for a raise (in the correct way) does not = 'you're fired' if a raise can't be given.
i am not saying they would be fired for asking for a raise but you literally said how its not a big deal if they do get fired because they could just find something else
I maintain that a whopper with cheese made with care remains the best nationally available fast food burger on the market.
It certainly depends on each employee's situation. I'll agree that someone who's busting their ass working every hour they possibly can just to pay the bills probably wouldn't be as able to ask for a raise as someone with at least a little wiggle room.
I can't imagine never going through life never getting to have KFC's mashed potatoes and gravy yet here we are...
Big fan of the Rally's Spicy chicken. Wish they used a different mayo, but still good. Gonna go ahead and put Wendy's Spicy as 2nd best, behind Popeyes. CFA 3rd.
