Congrats gents. Montez got rolling and was just dropping dimes. You made good adjustments and we shrank like an eskimos scrotum
Two weeks, two impressive sets of 2nd half adjustments. Plenty of holes both sides, but in game adjustments have been very nice to see.
Being at CU from 99-03, beating the Husks is the only thing anybody cared about. My best sports watching memories involve Colorado/Nebraska football (and obviously the 2001 dagger). I’ve moved on from following CU sports closely in a lot of ways, but these last two wins feel as good as any I can remember.
Mangham is a stud. I was worried a out his wiggle but seems like he has plenty. I have been pleasantly surprised by Fontenot. Thought he would be Meh but both backs have shown nice patience and balance. Would not be shocked to see a back or two leave this offseason (yeah, it's early) , because those two seem locked in and we have some depth. Hope the trend continues as we enter pac 12 play.
I haven't had time to review the NU game yet, but I thought Mangham was only a tackle away from breaking off a couple of long/big runs in the CSU game. That isn't meant to take away from Fontenot, who has played well / deserves recognition as well, but if Mangham can start breaking those tackles at the second level, I still think he could take over as the lead back in that rotation by season's end given what Coach Tucker has said he wants the team's identify to be.
Listened earlier. Loved when after the interview he said something along the lines of, “man Nebraska fan, that interview really hurt, didn’t it?”
