Hey fellas my wife and all her friends are going to Nasvhille for the weekend for a few of them to celebrate their 30th birthdays. they are staying at a friend's house who lives close to downtown. I want to send my wife flowers for her 30th, does anybody recommend a florist or flower shop that does that kind of stuff? I'm trying to avoid 1800 flowers. Thanks
Aren't you lucky. I'm in the flower delivery business. What are you looking for and where will I be delivering.
We tried City House for the first time on Sunday based on your recommendation and were blown away. City House might be the best restaurant in Nashville.
yep, it is awesome. That ham belly pizza is awesome, but so is everything else. And the house/location is sweet. I haven't done a lot of fine-ish dining in Nashville, but City House seems the perfect mix of atmosphere, price, and quality. Glad it worked out.
Was in Nashville a couple of months ago for about a week. I ate my body weight in food during my time there, but have to say Urban Grub was probably the best place I ate at there.
I originally planned to go to Urban Grub last weekend but decided to stay in Franklin. Red Pony delivered and we took in the open house art shows before then. A great evening and very cunty.
It’s really annoying that you have to buy a wristband to all of Americanafest. I just want to see a handful of folks

Wife and I will be heading to Nashville for the first time next week. Be there Thursday through Saturday (seeing Isbell at the Ryman Friday night). Looking for recs on a couple of spots to eat in that general area. Nothing too fancy, just something unique that a couple finally free from kids for a couple days might enjoy. Also, is there a go-to rooftop bar?
Doors at 7. Opener at 8. Jason will go on stage at 915 Tonight, just find a place on Broadway to hang out before the show. The rain I'm sure has put a damper on things. I prefer either Roberts or Layla's. Layla's may be the least crowded place. Or Acme Feed and Seed is pretty good. Or Broadway Brewhouse
Apparently I have not been paying close enough attention. Craig Morgan is paying city winery again on Nov 10th but all of yall probably already knew that too. I gotta get with the times.
This weather is miserable (mainly because our backyard doesn't drain for shit so it's a giant mud puddle for Blue to play in).
What’s the best hotel to stay at? Doing our boys trip to Nashville next summer. Omni? Holsten House? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
the Loews or Omni I guess? Maybe the Hutton? Those would all be in very convenient locations as far as going out and doing things. I don't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel in Nashville but those first two are really nice and I've heard the Hutton is cool eat at Monell's in Germantown, thanks
So Asurion had a pretty big layoff today. This sucks. Even more so when you think about it being done right before the holidays, when they are building a new HQ and your CEO bought his 2nd mansion valued north of $20 million.
Sorry man. I’m sure you'll land on your feet. But that undoubtedly stinks. And yes, fuck big corps and the one percent
It was all across the business. I know folks in desktop support, training, hr, etc that got laid off.
At least the wife got a title change at her work today that came with a 15% bump (she already made more than me lol).
