It’s a Thursday night and there’s a high school game Sneak a bottle up the bleachers and forget my name
Just got the presale email for these shows. Presale Time! We're running exclusive presales for the following show, so you can get tickets before they go on sale to the general public! *Presales begin at 10am Thursday! Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit (3 Nights!) 11/14-11/16 @ Georgia Theatre Promo Code: ZMPresale | Tickets: HERE
Isbell (with Shires and Chris Tompkins) wrote this song for Carlile. Heard him on an interview last week on SiriusXM talk about how nervous he was to send it to her. Apparently she got it right before boarding a plane and he didn't hear back from her for so long he started to get really nervous lol
I'm at the DBT show in Louisville right now. Patterson just played a new song called Thoughts and Prayers. It'll be on their new album coming out in January.

Finally got to see Isbell last night at RR. I’m still coming down from the high of it all; it lived up to my expectations. Even the songs I didn’t know as well were just amazing. Pretty sure I still have goosebumps from Last of my kind and Cover me up. Finished it off with Ohio with David Crosby, which was excellent.
Seeing Cover Me Up live for the first time was quite an emotional experience. The Elephant too. I think half the room was in tears.
Considering going to one of the Athens shows. Best method for getting tickets besides getting hammered on stub hub?
I heard that song in Lauderdale when they were with Lucinda Williams a couple months ago. Great tune.
Very exciting that Jason is writing again. A new album in 2020 would be incredible. So weird that people creepily invite him and Amanda for coffee on twitter
Caught Jason at the Ryman last night. It was phenomenal in every way. What a show, and what a place. Yeah, it’s very good. I love the opening lyric of “Used to be a Ghost Town, but even the ghosts got out.”
There was a video out of it from some festival when he first started playing it. Don’t remember much but think it was pretty rocking recent version
Eats rights. Works out. Gets tired like 70 yr old man. Just got downtown. About to walk to the box office. I will come say hey unless your scared I will embarrass you like the last time.
As soon as the first chords hit, both me and the guy next to me in the pew freaked out. Just the best damn song as an encore finish.
all that shit is why I’m tired. she’s picking me up and heading down there. Probably will be walking in as the opener finishes. I’ll message you if we get in and I can grab a beer or something
It's all good man. I scored row F on the floor Edit: they still have a ton of hatch prints. Surprised the fuck out of me. I guess that happens when you play 7 nights and people come to multiple shows.
