Got one from a boss fight. When it comes time to reload, you toss the gun and it turns into a robotic spider turret that shoots enemies
Some dude i had added on Epic went from 60 guardians ranks to like 167 today with 20 hours played on his character. What's the fun in cheating the first few days? I removed him from friend's list. Figured out how I'm going to progress, no story spoilers but maybe spoilers of end game type things you might want to discover your self. Spoiler I'm beginning to try and speed up my play through myself, I read a strat which made since was to finish your normal run, unlock guardian, turn mayhem on so everything scales to your level then just grind/do what side quests/challenges you have left, running proving grounds and circles, etc. Get to level 50 max level, then start TVHM and get all the quest rewards max level. Seems the way to go.
Is anyone doing this? Resolution mode seemed laggy to me on the 1 x https://www.polygon.com/platform/am...-stutter-skip-ps4-pc-xbox-one-digital-foundry
I believe it was mentioned earlier ITT. I’ve used performance mode but will give resolution a shot to see if I notice a difference
The performance issues are an issue. I lose sound and it chops up constantly for me. I’m still having a lot of fun but if this were any other game I’d be in here fuming over it
I've been holding on to this one shotgun a few level ups too long. It doesn't do a ton of damage, or shoot that well, but when I reload and toss that sucker at enemies, it turns into a nuclear bomb. When you toss it, it shoots out 5 irradiated MIRV rockets that fuck everything up in sight. I beat Killavolt with it, it can take out groups of 4 with one toss. This game is so much fun.
The more I play this the more impressed I am at the expanse of each planet. I feel like BL3 takes what Destiny wanted to do with planetary travel, but instead of making linear missions and basically 20/30 min stops they gave each planet a personality and plenty to do. I love completing side missions and discovering all the crew missions.
I know they promoted the amount of guns in the game but does anyone else feel overwhelmed? It seems like everything I open pops out 2-3 guns. I feel like I spend more time reading specs of guns to determine if I should use it or not than completing missions. Probably just a learning curve for the beginning stages but I don’t remember having that feeling in the previous games.
hit 30 last night. Here are random bulleted thoughts Gunplay isnt as good as destiny or cod (what is?) but its on par with apex. Much better than previous BL games Movement isnt as good as destiny, apex, warframe but its pretty good, especially as Amara Speaking of Amara, she is god tier If youre playing solo youre doing it wrong. This is a social game, stop hiding offline. Its not fooling anyone, we can see your progress updates while we play. I dont understand level scaling I'll give it about a month before we can buy eridium for real money
I’m very much whelmed I’d be lying if I said I didn’t check the vending machines at least once a play session just for the off chance there’s a superior gun to the one I have.
The boss fights in this game are incredible. I love how they manage to throw puzzle/mechanical aspects into the fight while still making you feel like you’re fighting. I can’t remember the name of the boss we fought last night but when the game hits higher difficulty it’s gonna be an insane experience
Hoping to play it for the first time tonight. Have been swamped with all kinds of shit this past week, and haven't really been home much. TrustyPatches I'll try to actually make it on unlike Saturday night. I got sloppy drunk and was out before I even turned on my playstation.
No worries bro. Soon as you find your way back on ima reroll moze and we can annoy the shit out of Odin by doing every fuckin side quest
Zane is amazing and Amara looks great as well. I think Moze is probably gonna be the most user friendly
I'm at the point now where I don't know if I want to join others. I'm a 15, others are in the 20's. I join their game and I'll miss multiple story missions, I'm sure. Also, re-rolled my FL4K to something MTash recommended on the youtubes.
Well here’s the biggest difference Amara is an in your face aggro machine and Zane is a more versatile damage dealer. Having multiple perks that allow your action skills to drop grenades with Zane is pure chaos
user Hoss Bonaventure has probably caught up to me, if he fixed his claptrap glitch and didn't give up. orrrrrr, you and user Odin can just come back to me.
Dude always come hang out but it’s kind of the nature of the beat with borderlands. It’s hard for everyone to find the same time to give it their all. Ima slow considerably this week. Legit tho two guys that party up with us are in the 14-15 range so you’d have guys to run with. You’ll also have opportunity to catch up when Odin and I fall back for a bit with tigers
Unlocked a perk where when I come out of my action skill Mr. Chew taunts all the enemies in a huge radius plus now he can revive me.
