I think I’m gonna start pointing at people like Paulie does with his index and pinky fingers extended
*Phil explaining how Leonardo was changed to Leotardo at Ellis Island* Grandkid: Whyd they do that? Phil: Because they’re stupid, that’s why
Doing a rewatch. Flying through season 3 but def need to take a break after watching Ralphie brutally beat a stripper to death.
Tony B. is talking about the Korean guy he works for, his work ethic, and how the immigrant experience isn’t that different from being a convict. Paulie- a word to the wise: remember Pearl Harbor!! Even better, after the teacher banging Carmela calls: Tony- what’d that fag want Carmela- Jesus Christ Tony, everybody’s a fag to you. Maybe you’re a fag, you ever think of that? Tony- can I help it if I know one when I see one? Carmela- oh, what are the signs? Education, culture? Tony- sucking a guy’s cock usually tips me off Slays me every time
Has anyone ever stopped and thought about what happened to Bobby's kids being left in Janice's care? Poor fucks.
Anyone else notice the age issue with Tony Soprano in the new movie? If the movie plot takes place in 1968, Tony Soprano would only be 9 years old. If I'm not mistaken, he was supposed to be 40 in the pilot, which was in '99. It's all fiction, but I have a hard time his character is 9 in the movie. Just a discrepancy I've noticed.
Mid tier mostly because it was made by horrible memers. Any meme can be good if it gets good OC. The "Time immemorial" on the mugs is amazing.
Oh yeah, I wasn't arguing with your point. There's definitely a time issue there. I guess that there's still some dispute over who is playing whom and when it is set: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/...y-soprano-first-look-newark-many-saints-vgtrn https://www.nj.com/entertainment/20...ranos-film-that-depicts-the-newark-riots.html
I hope they figure something out. I’m not a neck beard that gets all crazy with this sort of thing so the fact that I even said, “wait, what?” Is not good.
Can't believe Hesh turned down an opportunity to sign these guys. After all, he did record in Denmark.
I am doing a rewatch with my fiancée who is watching for the first time. Finished season 3 last night. First thing she said when she woke up this morning was “I’m sad about Jackie Aprile”
In rewatching season 3, it's odd that later on Paulie gets so butthurt over the joke about Johnny Sac's wife. In Employee of the Month, he makes jokes much worse than what Ralphy said.
and he realizes that Johnny Sack was just using him. He inflated his ego by saying how much Carmine likes and respected Paulie so that Paulie would feed John information. Once Paulie realized that Carmine Lupertazzi didn’t even know who he was, Paulie lost all respect for John.
John was a meddling fuck, but one of my favorite characters. "He wanted capo, I threw cold water on it"
