Recruiting got boring, Nd already has a lot of guys. Good quality but dB recruiting is not ideal to say the least
There’s really not much right now. Probably going to land Ramon Henderson but he is a major reach Best bet is to rape and pillage the classes of teams that struggle this year till we can find 2-3 more good athletes
Yes but those bridges might be burned Couple good players in their class that ND finished 2nd or 3rd for
AJ Henning would give us flexibility with Xavier Watts’s position. Watts could be a really good safety.
They played so much better than I thought they would. Hate all losses but would love another shot at them in a neutral stadium.
So looking at rankings, things are lined up ok for ND. Every team ahead of ND plays someone else ranked above ND except for Clemson. Bama plays LSU, Auburn and possibly Georgia LSU plays Auburn, Bama, Florida and possibly Georgia twice Georgia has Auburn, LSU, Florida and possibly Bama Oklahoma has Texas, possibly twice Ohio St has Wisconsin possibly twice Auburn see above Wisconsin see above Florida has Georgia, LSU, Auburn and possibly Bama ND would have to house teams, but if Georgia runs it convincingly, there's a shot.
I would agree with you but this year feels like some fuckery will happen, Clemson feels like fsu 2014 to me. They are very good but might stumble
Until the playoff committee changes things, there is absolutely no reason to play games like yesterday. Just play highschool teams for the whole season like OSU is doing this year. Instead, we have home and homes with OSU and Alabama on the horizon!
No, just join the ACC full time if you think that and make them realign so Clemson is in the other division.
I think 2017 proved this is not correct. We were making the playoffs at 11-1 with that loss to UGA. Also, you use osu as an example, but yet they're scheduling us ooc in the future as you said. I think everyone knows 1 big win like yesterday would have been can be huge. Plus, as a fan, I'd be fucking pissed if we went that other way.
Osu last year is another great example, their high school schedule is the reason they were left out. Losing to Purdue in blowout fashion was big but if they got one more big win they are in over Oklahoma
If youre playing an independent schedule, you can't do that. Even if those teams have a down year, scheduling USC, Stanford, Michigan and Georgia carries a lot of weight. Add in VA Tech, Virginia, and a partial ACC schedule, and you give yourself a punchers chance.
I don't agree with the crux, but they scheduled TCU, which was on par with OUs ooc. The dicking by 6-6 Purdue did most of the damage.
And when I am wrong I am not scared to admit it But to be fair I am so used to it that it is kind of easy
I am still a little bored and love to talk some football, if it’s up to you right now do you want book back or you roll with jurkovec next year? Way too soon, I get it, so don’t jump on me please. Just a harmless discussion
