KU fans are excited that the secondary violation related to Beaty using an extra coach in practice will maybe/probably help the school get out of paying him $3M. KU fans also don't expect their basketball coach, who is charged with head coach responsibility violations, to be punished.
FYI the investigation is from the same case that led to one of your assistant coaches serving three months in prison
I'm sure KU deserves some serious punishments, but expecting schools to have complete oversight of its external business partners as the new standard is laughable. Its never been done and there is no way for it to truly be enforced. Maybe the schools don't want to know, but that could be argued for everyone. The NCAA is embarrassed and is overreaching. I'd rather have KU get a 2 year post season ban than watch NCAA close their eyes and just piss everywhere marking their fucking territory bc they can. Its not good for the game and is a dangerous precedent for college sports.
That’s not the standard. The FBI, and now the NCAA, has texts between Self and Gassnola. They have more damning texts between Gassnola and Townsend, who Self is responsible for. This isn’t just Kansas turning a blind eye to Adidas. I’m sure you would prefer a slap on the wrist to real penalties
Yea because everyone knows Bill Snyder ran a squeaky clean program all those years. You can get off your high horse at any time now.
I mean, they've cheated so bad that the most trouble they've got in was a one year postseason ban in 89?
lol at Georgia Tech giving a shit about a postseason ban when they have less than a zero percent chance of making any postseason tournament anyway
GT AD Reads NCAA decision: "who is our basketball coach again? Pastner? Alright we agree to the penalties."
