The Frog Prince was hard as hell the first time I tried to clear him. Heart of Stone had some pretty tough boss fights.
4 years after the rest of the world, I'm finally immersed in this game, it is fantastic. Only 3-4 hours in.
This HoS expansion is nuts. Dead mans party was great. Didn't realize a scarred David Beckham was in this.
Between those and the video game backlog, I’m seriously considering just staying home for the holidays
Just finished HoS. Enjoyed the Olgierd/Gaunter storyline. That Iris sword tho And Shani Starting B&W, forgot how aggravating Gwent can be with the randomly assigned cards.
Every now and then I see this thread bumped and I’ll pick this game back up for a bit. But I just got a BSoD so now I can’t
So its pretty annoying having over 150 hours and being lvl 43 and still running into enemies that are too many lvls above me. Still enjoying B&W tho and the Skellige deck is pretty fun once you get the hang of it.
Finished up B&W last weekend. Really great DLC, Amazing game overall. Put in 177 hours Side missions had a really good diversity. And some were insanely involved/complex Game still had a decent amt of glitches/control flaws for a game like this. The horse controls above all else. Took a little while to get used to the menu system Loading times were bad to awful Couldn't imagine doing some of the boss fights on Death march Overall, an amazing game. Great characters and enemies. The Crones, The Baron, Gaunter O Dimm, Olgierd and the Vampires were great. Thanks to those who gave tips/tricks. Bring on Witcher 4
Pulled the trigger and bought the Switch version. It’s pretty fucking impressive. I’m about to the point in the game that I made it to on my second attempt, which admittedly isn’t very far. I’m committed to getting through the whole thing this time.
Want to throw this in the “things posted out of context” thread I’ll be joining you on the Switch version sometime before Christmas
December 20 release for the show Before anyone complains about the castings, it’s based on the books with oversight by Sapkowski.
reading the books right now. They are fantastic. Can already see several scenes in the preview from the books and I’m incredibly excited. the books are significantly different than the games, especially 3. I think the casting is actually actually pretty spot on, I’d be interested to hear your reasoning
They nailed it a solid actor who truly cares about the source material and has been invested in it for years? I’m in
We all know that Geralt as a character conveys a fucking assload of emotion. Not sure if Cavill can swing that.
I mean, did I want Mads instead? Sure. But the show is made and Sapkowski has blessed Cavill’s performance.
Yeah, Cavill should have no issues playing a pretty stoic, wooden character, who's emotions have been stripped.
Is 2 any good or inferior to 3? Only ever played 3. Also, are there good mods for it? I’ve only ever played without mods.
I played a little, stopped, waited a year, came back, committed to at least ten hours. After that I was absolutely fucking hooked.
Got the complete edition with expansion packs etc for $15 from Xbox store. Probably could've waited for it to be on game pass.
