Same. I watched three eps last night and I can't stop thinking about any of them. Reading the episode discussions on Reddit now to find stuff I missed
going off the halloween episode discussion, i like the fact that in a lot of shows, that could be dismissed with "it's just a tv show". in this one, I have to think they specifically chose a time well before the start of the show to indicate just oblivious bojack was to anything going around him that didn't directly center on him. he obviously met diane at least that one time, probably multiple times before that "first" time in the first episode. but only once the interaction centered around him and she became focused on him as his ghostwriter did he actually pay attention to her.
It's crazy to me they never write themselves into corners. I know they have teams working on shows like this but I find that very impressive. It's also interesting how with most shows, you're just itching to see the plot advance. But on this show, I'm equally happy with a plot advancement ep or a backstory ep. I wonder what percent of the show is flashback, ie set before the events of ep 1?
After storming through the first several eps weeks ago, finally got back to it. Watched the "premier" ep last night and was howling when I recognized Isaiah (Clay Davis) Whitlock and Richard Lewis... lol @ the fly getting zapped by the gas lamp thing
Ive been through 3-4 eps in the past couple weeks slowly getting ready. I love all the jokes with the Philbert set looking just like BoJack’s house
Binged 6/8 episodes last night. They were fantastic and I have a feeling the payoff of this final season will be epic. So much to explore with Bojack as well as the world at large with the Whitewhale Corporation
I’m going slow through this because I know how close we are to the end. This show is so good and the ability to get emotions felt from a cartoon is incredible. I can’t recommend it enough to friends and none of them believe me because it’s a show about a cartoon horse.
Princess Carolyn: Look what Uncle BoJack brought you Ruthie, it’s a 1970s pop art interpretation of the Narcissus myth! Perfect gift for a baby. BoJack: Narcissus? I thought the painting was about me
