Couple of injuries but your starting D is one of the most talented in the country. And there is some really talented depth too. DE - Rector #448 DT - Tufele #39 NT - Tuipolotu #60 DE - Jackson #56 OLB - Echols #134 MLB - Gaoteote #15 OLB - Houston #49 CB - Griffin #28 CB - Taylor-Stuart #32 S - Hufanga #88 S - Pola-Mao #113
the same ol disingenuous crap, nobody cares about recruiting rankings. Where are they in mock drafts? talent isn't measured by creeps like Mike Farrell, it's what actually shows up on the field
that's why they didn't have a single guy drafted in the first 2 rounds last year? SOoOOoooO much talent bro
I don't care about ratings or who gets drafted. I care about what I see on Saturdays. And what I see is a linebacker group that doesn't tackle well, a d-line who can get pressure but never seems to catch a decently mobile QB, and a secondary that is a glaring weakness. They don't pass my eye test, that's for sure.
but bro, one of the DBs might get drafted in the 6th round so we're basically the 2000 Baltimore Ravens out there
Last year I said you had a lot of young talent, I stand by that, that talent is a year older and more experienced now. You have had holes in the past but are much more balanced in your talent now.
you define talent solely by recruiting rankings to set up your narrative, don't be disingenuous. Ricky Town being a top 150 recruit didn't mean he was talented, once they actually see the field all those rankings go out the window. I'm not using Mike Farrell and the like to define what talent is.
Time for some classic chuck it and hope long pass plays. Might as well, not gonna get back in this game any other way.
ultimately Fink was 3rd string for a reason (and would be 4th string if Sears stayed.) The game last week was fun, but you don't go up against a team like UW on the road with a 3rd stringer and come away with many victories. Bring on the new AD and the subsequent coaching search
Man, that was hard to watch. The targeting call, followed up by the red zone pick, and then the kickoff return turned a battle of a game into a blow out loss.
Bad take. They have an incredible roster of talent. Just caught by the injury bug. They’re a top 10 team next year.
I don’t know what this means. You want SC to lose? You want them to win so Clay stays? It doesn’t matter either way. He’s gone.
Went to the game on Saturday which was my second time since the renovation. My mom's tickets are on the press box side and I do like all of the updates with the seats and concessions. The best thing they did was splitting the sections and adding a bunch of new stairs. Was able to get up to the Lou Galen Club which is the level under the press box. It was nice (probably not worth the sticker price) and seats although high were pretty good since they felt close to the field. Beers were $16 or so, I guess if you can afford the access you can afford the beers. Final thoughts: Fire Clay
Oh I get that but nobody will care once he starts winning, just like after the debacle at Florida. They have the perfect shot at a top 3 coach that would turn the program around in 2 years.
I can understand why USC wouldn't want Urban, given some of the scandal they've had there. Luckily an honorable guy like Hugh Freeze is out there.
