Anyone have a recommendation on KC party busses? More than likely having a large group for Chiefs/Packers Sunday night football in October. Didn't know if anyone has had a good experience with a particular bus company.
a buddy from colorado is coming into town with his gf from wisconsin. she's meeting a bunch of her old college friends from up there for the game so it should be a party
actually I've never even been on a party bus but I've heard from people with friends that they're fun
where’s the best place to take a day trip? Me and the girl I’m not dating but monogamously sleeping with unless she brings a girlfriend over are hanging Saturday and I want to do something
Lake Jacomo/Fleming Park is out past Blue Springs. Not sure if its nice but its close. There are also some vinyards in missouri, but not sure if its the right season. Powell Gardens are nice as well out east. Was going to recommend splitting a day between Lawrence/Manhattan, but never mind.
Sorry, bro..I didnt say you were a couple. Just there arent a lot of day trip places to go period especially if its a lady friend.
Has that been widely reported? I was going to put a post in here asking if it seemed like a weird night. It’s super quiet in my neighborhood. No one out walking, no cars driving. Usually the streets lined with parked cars but there’s only 2 right now.
It was on Reddit too. I don't really take it seriously but I'm also fine not going to Walmart tomorrow. Mostly cause it's a Saturday but reducing my odds of getting shot by a MAGA nutjob is a nice bonus.
Wife and I are headed out on a road trip in October and KC looks like our stopping point for the first day of our drive. Any suggestions on hotels to stay at and a place to eat dinner?
What kind of food? I'll always recommend Joe's (my personal favorite) or Q39. Stay on the Plaza. Of course if you stay there Jack Stack is in the plaza.
Just so what you know what you're getting into with recs, Joe's is a hole in the wall type place where you will probably standing in line for a bit. Q39 is more of a sit down, traditional restaurant type place. I'd probably recommend there if you're with the wife. Jack Stack is similar, on the plaza, and also very good. If you're not feeling BBQ even though I'd recommend it, Lidia's is a great spot for pasta/Italian food, (Bit further from the plaza though) Gram and Dun is a solid date type spot on the plaza, Port Fonda is kind of an upscale Mexican restaurant, and Beer Kitchen is very good pub food.
Hey EMAW FC , wanna cum over to my place and watch some cat, drink naturdays, eat ribs, and bring over that miller highlife sign?
Going to Manhattan this weekend, but when is the next SKC game? We can drink beers and cuss at the TV when zusi gets burnt
Hey I live in Manhattan and will be tailgating and attending the game this weekend. If you see a guy in a purple shirt, that might be me!
Went to a bar in Waldo last night. Girl sits down next to me- was fairly drunk. She is quite upset because her "date" stood her up at the bar. She's 23 years old and attractive. We talk for a bit and she admits she is an escort. A guy set up the appointment and then never showed up. She's getting a bit choked up and she has no way to get home because her phone is dead and she has no money. I feel bad for her because she's clearly in a rough place, and I had only had 2 beers, so I offer to drive her home. She basically pours her heart out for 15 minutes on the drive there and then invites me inside as I am dropping her off. I politely decline as I would feel really shitty about it with her in that state. idk why I'd be surprised but TIL KC has escorts, and I was out for a total of one hour.
Great fucking move. You would of went upstairs and her pimp would of been waiting for you at your car demanding $1000. What bar btw?
One of my old co-workers was huge into the 150 roses per hour scene. Had an escort at least once a month. Had a blackbook where he wrote down reviews and kept them for safekeeping. A weird ass dude.
thoughts on this list? I’ve never heard of several including #1 https://www.435mag.com/the-10-best-kansas-city-bbq-spots-we-ate-at-50-plus-spots-to-pick-em/
