been rewatching seasons 1-3 on netflix before 4 drops. First time back in season 1 with all the knowledge I've gained in the series, it's quite delightful

"Definitely not a bucket of goo" from Jason was an amazing line and one of the random moments from last night that destroyed me. Really liked it overall.

Kristen looking like a GD snack in that black dress we started the episode and when she showed up in that dress, heard the wife let out a sigh and "i just like her so much"....
i burst out laughing when i saw it and couldn't hold it together every time they showed him and his smile. rolled the whole seen, just great great wardrobe
felt like a filler. I liked the new scenes within timelines we know, so it wasn't using the Friends template where they just re-aired old scenes in a nostalgic fashion, but felt like half of the episode didn't move the plot forward at all. Will enjoy it in rewatch years, but i'm anticipating everything wrapping up so much it just feels delayed another week.
i think it moved the plot forrward significantly. chidi is finally at peace with his past indecisiveness, the previous versions/timelines memories that Michael gave him before waking didn't give him a stomach ache, nor did the new situation of trying to save humanity. chidi about to fuck shit up now.
ehhh. this is a bit of a cop out. yeah, chidi didn't freak out when he "woke up," but it was still a clip episode.
i think that's where I was. it had new clips, but felt like a clip episode and I know there are only a few episodes remaining ever. I think the finality of it hurts

They just met w the judge, told her they have agreed to terms then she asked what the deal was. Then it cut as it seemed like they have no clue what to do, but just dont want the world to end.
immediately after that*, jason plays "toss the 'end humanity garage door looking thing' between his legs" and catches it one-handed, and gets annoyed when people freak out and don't appreciate the cool move! and then it ends with the judge asking "assuming we're going to redesign the entire afterlife, what do we do?" and everyone turning to chidi and chidi answers "don't look at me, i'm just the idea guy" *edit: or maybe not immediately after. you may be referring to the earlier scene. they meet with the judge to stop her from ending the world, shawn says there's "kinks to work in" (old habits) on the plan, but agrees in principle and then what I said above
