I have and didn't like it. Mac got lost a bit. Preferred to have my spicy sandwich with cheese and a Mac and cheese side.
Agree but it's a bit cheesier to me. Also, it could be straight stouffers and be a top tier fast food option.
I agree that it's very good. I was just expecting something different with all the love it was getting. I'll probably just stick with fries and eat some of my wife's mac when she gets it.
I had a ton left over from a party tray of it. Mixed some cooked bacon and sprinkled some sharp cheddar on top — blew my extended family’s dick off the next day at another party.
Nah, they were all at the party the day before. Just told them I jazzed it up. Baked it in a cast iron pan, too.
I feel like all you do is order trays of CFA and attend parties. I'm moderately jealous and feel like it must be quite something to know you in real life.
I am fun, but can also be very overbearing in real life. I’m definitely a “good in small doses” kinda guy.
Looking forward to taking a tour of the mothership. That free HQ tour that comes with getting the bump to red is a nice perk.
I had a terrific Mac and cheese experience on Saturday. Up to then it hand been good, but it was pretty clear that it was served up in a to-go container from a big batch. Saturday I was out running errands before 11:00 cfb games started and rolled up to CFA at 10:28 and got my lunch order on the app at 10:30. I got home about 15 minutes later to a pleasant surprise. The Mac was served with the cheese layer completely covering the top of the dish. This was a first. I typically find that layer buried. This is a game changer. The first serving right out of the oven with the top layer intact is phenomenal. Plus it was still way too hot after 15 minutes, which is a first.
Welcome to the food service industry where this is basically standard practice unless a place makes everything from scratch after it’s ordered.
One 120-count tray for the clambake this weekend, two 200-count trays for the union get together on 11/2. 3,300ish points right in the bank.
I live like 20ish miles from cfa corporate. The store I go to is one of highest grossing in country, and a few of the Employees there are the kids of cfa executives. It's on point.
Eh, there are no “layers” the pan is only about 2.5 inches deep, you just had bad luck/scooping technique with your previous experiences.
I pass by the CFA by my office every morning at ~5:50 and there are always at least 3-4 cars already in line even though they open at 6.
A cfa near my mil was being upgraded for what seems like the past 3 months. It opened up last week, today I had a chance to go and instead of a window at the drive thru, it was a sliding glass door and they brought your food to you. It was amazing.... anyone else seen one?
I think that’s what they’re doing to the Mayfield Heights one. They’re also putting up covers for the drive thru speakers and the amount of actual steel beams is kinda remarkable. Like these fucking things aren’t going anywhere in a low-grade tornado.
The cfa I was talking about added this as well. I really liked it. Never see the sliding door though.. I’ll try to get a pic of it next time I go..
