This is all P-5 (and from two years ago), but gives you a general idea - https://www.ncaa.com/news/basketbal...ll-breaking-down-power-conferences-height-and. Regardless it’s a pretty big team overall, especially considering we lost the 7 footer who transferred to ECU.
So is CockyTalk done for good? I mean good riddance, 99% of time it was the absolute worst, but I did enjoy dropping in occasionally to asses our fan base's level of delusion. Tried to log on this morning for some UGA hot taeks, and it looks like the site is down again.
Have been a fan of your team and fanbase since we played you guys in the Outback bowl years ago. Congrats on the big win.
My girlfriend just got a text saying that there is an active shooter at the state fair right now. Be safe guys.
Never mind. Looks like some people were trying to scare people. https://www.wltx.com/mobile/article...fair/101-909ff6c3-63ea-4605-95e8-b8c9de1e8a12
UT game time is set for 4pm. This interferes with one of the bands I wanted to watch at the Jam Room Festival #hipsterproblems
This works out well for viewing OSU-Wiscy and for my sons first birthday party which is a football/tailgate theme and starts at 3. Gonna be a good day.
Fortunately, my sister transferred there after one semester at Western Michigan. Would have really been in rough shape.
Ingram is tricky, he definitely played inside a lot, but I still view him as more of a linebacker/edge player. Quarles was my first thought, but I honestly think Kinlaw is better.
Quarles was really solid but I think Kinlaw is more dominant. Quarles also had the benefit of playing with guys like Ingram and Clowney on the same line. Kinlaw draws a lot of double teams and just doesn’t care.
Lol Kinlaw is easily better than Quarles. He’s leading the SEC in sacks playing mostly at nose. He’s the best interior guy we’ve ever had.
I mean we finished T-4th in the SEC last year and were picked to finish towards the bottom preseason. I’ve seen a couple national CBB people really high on the SEC this year overall, so probably a combo of some teams overhyped and then general unknowns of our team post-Silva with a handful of transfers/grad transfers/Freshman playing significant roles. Either way, our new throwback unis are 10/10. UA has crushed it this year with these and the black football unis.
Nice. I’m planning to go to the tip off event Friday. Curious to see how that will look with the backdrop of downtown
I’m actually heading down to Columbia on Thursday for the weekend, so I may check it out as well. Have they announced what exactly the plan is? Like are they setting up hoops or a half-court at the art museum plaza or whatever?
That’s what I’m picturing but idk. Maybe a little dunk contest or scrimmage action? But I don’t know if you’d be risking injury playing on some rigged up court like that
They pick us essentially at the bottom every year. Yet, we have finished top 4 in the league in what, 3 of the last 4 seasons? I’m not worried at all about preseason basketball rankings. If we avoid injuries, we will be dancing in March.
Damn...that combo looks pretty sick. Or maybe there’s just no chance you fuck up when you combine my favorite team’s colors and logo
