Things are starting to break for ND, you know that outside shot at the #4 spot. its getting stronger.... right now an 11-1 ND probably finishes #5 just need a small amount of chaos
*takes bong hit* If you stretch real hard, we might be two Clemson two point conversions away from going to the playoffs for the third time in five seasons this year. First: ND losing to Clemson in Death Valley in 2015, an 11-1 ND team prob gets in over OU as the 4 seed Second: Clemson @ UNC this year, if we finish 11-1 and #5, we might have gotten in with an NC upset of Clemson this year
Fuck, I thought about it some more and since the rankings that year were 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. MSU, 4. OU, if we would have beaten Clemson I bet it would have ended up 1. Alabama, 2. MSU, 3. ND, 4. Clemson, so we would have had a semi game vs. that overrated MSU team.
so the uga loss keeps looking worse. Fromm again only does dumpoffs. 8/11 for 28 yards. Kentucky keeps it scoreless in the half without completing a pass and with 2 total first downs
That game is also a monsoon. Swift has 9 carries for 81 yards. If that coaching staff wasn’t retarded he’d be at 15+ carries for 150 right now and they’d likely be leading.
UGA’s offensive coordinator should be fired BVG style right now. also the UGA loss doesn’t matter, ND needs extreme chaos to make the final 4. Otherwise our bowl position is pretty much a lock at 10-2 or 11-1
We need to send Lenzy deep against them. They keep getting beat over the top and we’re not scary in that regard.
So book can look at him run wide open and decide to run in the back of one of nd’s olineman? I will be so pissed if Nd doesn’t take a few shots in this game. Just let it fly
Personally, Michigan scares me. Their offense might be meh, but their defense is potent enough to give Book loads of problems.
True, but I feel a bit better after seeing them. Nd should be able to run, use kmet and hit a few deep shots on them.
He's uber talented. But he plays against lowest comp there is. Come playoffs I'm more interested in what happens. They will be playing bigger schools at that point
Wasn't Jurk putting up monster numbers in high school and then got to the AA game and looked lost? High school numbers are so hard to interpret
Thought this shows how you can use the skycam effectively and not make the viewer nauseous, hopefully NBC can learn from that
I honestly think this is cool for a replay...and cool for the fact that luckily the play resulted the way it did...but it’s still an awful camera angle for 99% of live football plays...including that one. I would have much rather seen a view from behind the return man showing the play develop. You really have no idea what’s going on using this view other than the franticness of the ball carrier.
I meant more as a complimentary view so I agree with you there. Using it in live gameplay is jarring. I rather they just scrap the whole thing but if they are going to do it, do it like this.
Have a sinking feeling about this game. Book is due for a turnover-laden game and their offense seemed to figure things out a tiny bit in the second half against PSU. I’m getting Miami feels all over again.
book doesn't throw the ball far enough to turn it over. Book has been awful but hasn't been all that lucky turnoverwise.
I'm not sure what Penn St is. They've played 3 teams with winning records and won each by 7 points or less. I think ND plays it safe and doesn't try to do too much offensively and let's the defense put them in good scenarios. I'm not remotely impressed by them offensively, and UM fumbles a LOT. I see this as somewhere around 24-13 ND.
