Going forward there needs to be a cap for how much a president can spend on their own vacations or how often. Its ridiculous how much he's abused it. Its not a blank check to travel every weekend for leisure.

Not really relevant to this thread, but it sorta is... if Democrats and Republicans really wanted to work on something bipartisan to reduce gun violence, they would get lead out of our kids' blood. peak environmental lead exposure was the 1970's -- basically when I was growing up -- it hit the developing brains of Gen X the hardest (probably explains TMB's gen x users' uneven history of posting ). Lead in gasoline, contaminated soils around roadways + huge exposures from lead paint from all the deteriorating housing built right after WW2 that most of us grew up in. It's still extremely depressing to read study after study that shows blood lead concentrations well above what is considered safe (and that number, you could argue is arbitrarily too high) in so many of kids today (Clipped from the study: As of 2016, 3.3 percent of Milwaukee children tested were reported to have blood lead levels at 10 µg/dL and 11.6 percent of Milwaukee children tested were reported to have blood lead tests at 5 µg/dL. Those are unacceptably high numbers, and it's the same in city after city across the country).
