Call me immoral, but I really don't care about her being in a 'throuples'. However I do think it's pretty fucking stupid to have one of the individuals be a campaign staffer of all people. Also, leaving both individuals "high and dry" is a pretty shitty move on her part.
This shit needs to be covered more in the MSM. It’s non existent and will have a much bigger, longer lasting impact than most of the awful shit done under this admin
“The chairman of the ABA committee said in a letter Tuesday that it has no questions about Walker’s temperament or integrity and that it believes he has great potential to serve as a federal judge. But the panel said a nominee to the federal bench ordinarily should have at least 12 years’ experience in the practice of law.” I know literally nothing about the process or this dude, but the context is kinda important. I certainly understand it’s problematic he’s inexperienced, but it’s not like they red flagged him as some sort of threat. Idk...maybe just trying to rationalize the sky falling. Shit gets so depressing in here.
hes never tried a case seemingly in any capacity and hes been shady about whether he ever practiced law to a serious degree
For fucking brett kavanaugh lmao Why is anyone even pretending these judge nominations are being done in good faith? They're packing the courts with young ideological operatives from the Heritage Foundation to make sure this stupid system is in place for the rest of our lives. It'll be sweet when they eventually get put on the Supreme Court. Makes me laugh at all of the "vote out the activist judges" signs during the 2016 election in Kansas because the KS Supreme Court dared to rule against the Brownback administration's unconstitutionally low education funding. Literally everything is projection from the bottom to top.
One of the women accusing trump of sexual assault brought receipts and it sounds like she may even have phone records
Interesting to see FL/GA in there. If either of those states flipped in 2020 that would have to be game over, right?
The other ones are obvious flips/holds but yeah get one of GA/FL or maybe NC and that would be the kill shot ...
I used to work out with one of the owners of NHS (N) for several years. I'll actually be bringing him some bourbon balls tomorrow morning. Independent Truck has a rounded cross, while her tattoo is squared off. That said, it's a pretty generic symbol that can mean a lot of things. She deserves the chance to explain herself The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) references in its hate symbols database that the iron cross symbol goes back to the 19th century, included on medals for the German Empire. It was later adopted by Nazis for their medals, putting a swastika in the middle of the cross. However, the ADL does note the 'Iron Cross in isolation (i.e., without a superimposed swastika or without other accompanying hate symbols) cannot be determined to be a hate symbol,' because bikers, skateboarders and extreme sports enthusiasts frequently use the symbol.
He won by 30K votes. He got slaughtered in the popular vote and everything he has done since shows that he’s the worst President in the history of the country. Either he gets destroyed in 2020, or the country’s done. Apathetic voters who didn’t like Hillary and sat out last time know they can’t do that again.
Two things If Taylor sent him a "cable", anyone with a clearance and an automated message handling login can probably search for it by querying for anything that was addressed to the Dept. of State. Why the fuck would anybody care about what the Secretary of State has to say about workforce development?
NCAA in trouble when even Rs are backing paying players. Would go into effect July 2020. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday morning that he supports recent bipartisan legislation to allow college athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness. "I'm here to say that I support the direction that these legislators are going," said DeSantis to reporters at a press conference. "I think this is something the legislature should tackle in this coming session. I also say that understanding that, of course, there are going to be issues that need to be addressed, but I'm confident that those issues could be addressed in a way that will maintain college athletics as being a really special thing, but also provide the ability for our student-athletes to benefit just like anybody else would be able to benefit."
I was pretty agnostic regarding politics up until this impeachment stuff began, but since I have regularly followed this thread I just want to burn it all down. I’ve never realized how ignorant some people on my Facebook feed are (I did but I guess I chose to ignore how bad it was), or how skewed news agencies (Fox) were. I mean I knew there was bias, but fuck man. This recently came across my Facebook and it’s just sad, as usually the people who are reposting these things are hurt the most by this organization.
There's a woodworking dude on YouTube that has one and makes me feel like I shouldn't watch him build shit
Did she do anything illegal? Did she do anything that would benefit herself at the cost of her constituents? Did she do anything privately that she denounces publicly? As long as it's a no, I can totally defend voting for her again.
It is considered unethical to have a relationship with a subordinate. It seems like there is more to it though. I personally don't have a huge issue with that in the face of the nonsense that goes on in Washington, but I am guessing people try to make her quit. Democrats want to appear like they do the right thing when they find out about offenses.
Nah. Even consensually boning staffers as an elected official is really bad. It’s not go to jail bad, but it’s definitely you shouldn’t be a congressperson bad.
Gaetz heard the discussion around possible nazi iconography and felt compelled to defend it. Natural reaction for him imo
