    Very disappointing effort today.

Defense looked lifeless and the offense garbage.

stupid penalty’s and Mitch can’t make basic throws or make progressions.

Might be great if our players were less worried about losing Madden attributes and more focused on the Saints.

Nagy’s fastball has been figured out, he needs to develop some more pitches.

OL went from solid to trash

Mitch is a game manager plain and simple, a viable alternative should be brought in to compete with him.

26 NFL teams average 300+ yards of offense a game. The Bears have not eclipsed 300 yards in their first 6 games this year. That's absolutely pathetic.

They don't have a QB who can read coverage, make progressions and thus are facing stacked boxes. So we can't run based on a numbers disadvantage and our WRs outside of Robinson can't beat 1v1 coverage.

In other words people thinking this WR unit was good and having faith in shit players like Riley Ridley... yeah next

None of Trubisky or Nagy explain why the defense has been totally worked over the last 2 games. If we don’t figure this out quick the Raiders are about to get a really nice draft pick out of us.

    What?

If your offense is inept, your defense will get tired and stop caring.

Not to mention we lost our best DL, Hicks.

Sure you’re right but that doesn’t explain Jacobs and Murray absolutely gashing us for close to 250 yards and 4 TD’s the last 2 weeks. They haven’t played well at all the last 2 games and it has nothing to do with the offense. They’re starting the game getting gashed and it gets worse from there. Add on we’re not getting any pressure and it’s been a shit show all around. Don’t get me wrong, offense is the bigger problem but there’s some cracks in our highly touted D.

Both true. The past 2 games. Goldman is getting moved with double teams when normally he’s immovable. Floyd has disappeared so vs the pass you double/triple Khalil and without Akeim collapsing the center of the pocket we’re fucked. And like I said earlier, Smith just isn’t interested in playing football right now.

He's really fucking bad. I think what bothers me most isn't just the receivers he doesn't see, its that every time the Bears get a guy open downfield he misses them by 15 yards.

I have been pretty positive when it comes to Mitch. But i'm done. And this is a fantastic point.

We really should give Miami as 3rd or 4th and get Rosen in here.

You both base this on what? He was a much better QB prospect coming out of college. He's been forced to play with two all out tanking teams who have maybe the worst OLs in football at the time.

If you take out the anomaly of the incredibly dominant Pats defense that nobody has played well against, Fitzpatrick is clearly outperforming him this year on the same team. Even if you include that game, his numbers are still better. In 7 games this year, Washington has amassed 16 sacks, and almost a third came against Rosen (5 sacks). Meanwhile in the same game, Fitzpatrick came in and threw 18 times and wasn't sacked. Kyler has way better numbers with almost the same cast of characters this year in Arizona.

Idgaf what kind of prospect he appeared to be coming out of college, he hasn't shown he's worth a damn yet. And somehow he's going to come to Chicago with our trash OL and prove he's good?

No one is claiming he will be amazing. but we have nothing to lose and Mitch isn't the answer. a 4th on a guy who has high upside still with a roster with legit talent. Yeah I'll give that a go.

We currently have two trash QBs on roster. One can't even make a rpo read apparently

I’m team not fuck with Rosen, he hasn’t shown anything more than Trubisky at this point. This offseason is going to be very interesting in regards to QB’s. Guys like Cam, Matt Ryan, Mariotta, could all be available, without a 1st rd pick we’re going to have to kick the tires on a lot of guys.

Cam seems like a shell of his former self and broken down. If healthy and thats a big if he would be someone that would be interesting with Nagy. I want nothing to do with Marcus.

Rosen doesn’t raise the floor. We need more of a sure thing in the likely case Trubisky continues to flounder.

This seems like one of those chicken or the egg things... In truth it's probably bit of everything. Mitch isn't getting better in any facet of the game. Our OLine is ranked in bottom third in pass protection, so our already innacurate QB doesn't have time to throw, making it look worse. Because defenses know they can't be beat by air they stack the box, so we can't run.

Nagy gets hate and a lot of it is deserved, I just don't exactly see a path to a dominant running game within our team. It's clear a good OLine is needed to win in this league, and until we get one, nobody will look good back there.
