I like the idea of ground war but it’s turned into sniping until you get sniped, rinse and repeat, every time I’ve played. You try and play in the middle and you are going to get worked. On launch I think it will have to be built around domination for any kind of tactics to emerge. The main lobby rotates game styles and I think it’s so spastic right now because you get a ton of run and gun TDM only players stuck in domination and HQ and they just play the same way. I have had some laugh out loud kill streaks in HQ where they just respawn and run in waves at the flag and you just line em up and mow em down from a bit of cover a little offset from the flag. I’m no FPS savant and I have the perk on that let’s you start with full ammo because it’s a shooting gallery and I consistently go through the standard starting ammo.
Loving ground war. I rarely get sniped and it feels more like it’s against quick scoping. I’m a run and gunner though
No matter what I'm having a hard time killing guys. I will put the reticle on them and pull the trigger and it seems to me I only get a few hits on them and them bam they pull up and lay into me and waste me.
anybody try out crossplay yet? Can you party with people on other platforms or is it matchmaking only?
Game actually looks really good. Ground War looks like a lot of fun. Reminds me of Battlefield. Shroud is very good at the game.
So I have to already delete this game do to file size. I’ve deleted all my other games other than destiny and I still can’t play it because I don’t have enough space
They do need to fix the sound, as a lot of players seem to be sound whoring and just listening for the loud footsteps. The maps aren't great. Also seems to take forever finding matches, sometimes. It's a nice change of pace for me, as a mostly single-player gamer. I like Ground War a lot. And everybody says the campaign is amazing, so I will start that up sometime soon.
Co-op / spec ops could be so fun but they obviously spent very little time on it and it’s difficulty and enemy spawn system are so bad it’s anti-fun. Anybody else played and not walked away after an hour of futility? Hopefully they patch it because I love the concept.

Anyone else having trouble killing people again. I will have them in my sights and get the hit marker 3-4 times but they just turn and blast me with laser beam focus. Is there a setting I should put on or take off that I don't know about.
I don't mind losing I just get frustrated when I see the guy first, it's tell me I've hit him 2-3 times and then just just pulls right up and blast me. I know my reflexes aren't what they used to be but the killcams just look like they are getting heavy aim assist.
IW games have been super Internet dependent since ghosts. It’s usually why I don’t get them because I haven’t always had the best internet. I hate getting absolutely destroyed and then pumping bullets into kids that don’t die.
Not sure. Haven’t tried it yet but a bunch of coworkers are Xbox guys so going to need to figure it out I guess.
We’re trying it for the first time tonight. Would suck with discord I’m pretty sure we all use turtle beach HPs and I’m not sure they connect to phones. Maybe they do
It's hard to get the friend requests for cross-play. Think the only way you can add people is through activision id. It has an option for "PC" and "Console" but they always fail when I try to send them. I did successfully add a PS4 friend through the activision ID, and was able to join their game. Not sure about party chat.
You need to connect to friends on other platforms by Activision id. You can then join parties with people and chat is through the party audio. Been playing with friends that way since it came out.
