i can't even imagine the takes a stoned Kanell would come up with. PMT needs to have him on for a High Thoughts segment.
Maybe weed would have helped Danny's career: 43 games played. Chris Long played 162 games in his career and is a 2x Super Bowl winner.
my favorite part is he's skipping the fact it was ok/legal and then there was a national narrative claiming it was bad
maybe the problem is the weed maybe the problem is having the type of father who would call into a sports talk radio show to complain about how his son is going nowhere
So no data, no eye test, no committees. How exactly then is it decided who plays in the playoff? Or does he want to go back to the old bowl system and then it’s voted on by a committee who wins the national championship?
Using opponent win percentage in this situation is pretty misleading, though. Ohio State gets a lot of run from Cincinnati wins over mostly AAC competition, Indiana wins over the weakest part of their schedule, and FAU wins over a poor schedule. Texas, Florida, and Auburn have all played more difficult schedules. It doesn't matter, because it will all work itself out, but opponent win percentage is pretty dumb when a team doesn't schedule Power 5 non-conference opponents. Go Bucks!
“Until Junior Seau demonstrates that he can survive a shotgun blast to the chest, I have a hard time putting him in the Hall of Fame.” Danny Kanell, probably
Since 1990, 147 NFL QBs have thrown over 900 passes. Danny Kannel has the lowest completion percentage of them all.
If he had enough passes to qualify he’d rate 194th of 197 QBs all-time in adjusted net yards per attempt
