I think your best bet is to get one plain (no mayo) and then cut it into 1/4's and try different sauces.
On a work trip and have been talking up the sandwich to my boss. He’s about to try it for the first time
just had one again for the first time this round it’s a great sandwich but once again i’ll go back to my original stance no fucking way a fast food sandwich is worth the wait and clusterfuck that comes with being at a popeyes
9/10. Not good enough to wait in a line that’s wrapped all the way around. I got lucky. Blows Chick-Fil-A out of the water
Why have more than one cashier taking orders even faster? The production line already cant keep up with the orders of one line, might as well have more people on production getting food out as fast as they can
I did not go to business school. You know who else didn't go to business school? LeBron James, Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant. They went right from high school to the NBA so... So, it's not the same thing at all.
Problem with millennials right here. Always looking for the quick, fast and easy way to get something done!
well then more people on production. Either way, my local store was an absolute mess. And every random report like that made it seem like the employees were shocked, as if it wasn’t foreseeable this time around (ie “warned”), which was my actual point that I got away from. Although I will say my local spot added what looked like 2-3 more people from last time.
This shit has to slow down at some point. I think they just have to take their lumps for a few weeks. They can deal with long lines, just can't run out. Get through 2 weeks of long lines and eventually it'll slow way down.
Trying for the first time tomorrow or Friday, not sure if I’ve ever been this hyped about a fucking sandwich.
The Popeyes near my house shares a parking lot with a CFA, DD, and a few stores. I was going through and noticed it was packed and cars backed up around the store. I’d gotten the story that it was end of the month before they’d arrive. Curiosity got the best of me so I pulled in a spot and walked over before I went to Dunkin (hot chocolate run). Sure enough they have all the signage changed and the menus updated. The door had a typed paragraph in about 18 point font taped up about no sandwiches, no date yet, etc that you couldn’t begin to read from more than like 3 feet away. But there sure as shit were a couple of high def 3-foot chicken sandwiches on the menu board that you could see through the window from across the street. Just a mess.
Tried at 2 PM, it was a disaster. Line backed out to the street in 2 directions, poor Captain Ds parking lot fucked. I got called back to the office so I didn’t have time to give it a try. The damn college only being like 10 blocks away is killing me.
Didn't read the rest of the thread. What is the TMB approved side order? I went with cajun fries...was eating in the car.
Was curious about this as it seemed most Popeyes have digital menu boards, and considering the value of them are to update in real-time and at scale, it was hilarious to see pieces of paper simply taped to them saying "Out of Samwhiches".
When they're fresh, Popeye's fries are some of my favorite. Problem is they don't stay fresh long. Combine that with the fact that it takes 20 minutes minimum to get your order and boom fries are less than great. Red beans and rice, on the other hand, can keep it's quality for a lot longer.
I really like their hot chocolate. So what. I’m not banging out more than 2 sentences with my thumbs and still keeping up with proper structure and grammar.
Fucking hate them because of a very rational reason that the one near me has people that will turn into it and causes traffic to back up waiting across a 4 lane highway
I refuse to be shamed for enjoying a creamy and sweet hot beverage of my choice, rather than choking down coffee, which I do not like.
