Her necklace says McCain. It's like people who get their name tattooed on their body, what, are you gonna forget it if it isn't in ink?
I took that meaning from this. "Turkey is an official member of NATO ally. Russia is a partner of NATO ally. The Kurds are an enemy of my enemy ally. Was the US supposed to stand against another NATO member to make Macron feel better about US support of NATO?" You implied that it needs to be reworked because it is too complicated now. I am not sure that it is any more complicated than ever and the complications wouldn't mean anything if Trump wasn't the President. He is the one who put us, and the world in this position by his likely compromised relationship with both Russia and Turkey. I'll throw some credit for the complications over to Erdogan as well.
No that was because earlier it was said we couldn’t leave because the Kurds were our ally. I was pointing out that technically everyone involved was an ally of sorts. I do not think it needs to be reworked because of complexity. I think it needs to be reworked because countries like Turkey do not share our values and I see no reason we should be aligned with them.
I agree that Turkey is a big issue at this point with no easy answers. As far as values, I am not sure the President's version of our values is very far off from theirs.
Yes, ISIS was neutralized but thanks to Trump’s Twitter reality show policies the threat of ISIS is back and instead of having 50 soldiers the US had to send in 500 soldiers, are you going to defend that as well? Also the US left Syria so fast that they had to bomb American base to make sure that American weapons don’t fall in the wrong hands, but keep on justifying the unjustifiable under the guise of “we can’t protect them forever”. People like yourself would justify anything Trump does, it’s fucking incredible and Macron is right to question whether the US would answer the call, the fact that we’ve always done it does not mean shit. If you think Macron comments are bad you should see what’s going on with China and some of the US geologically close allies.
I haven’t defended Trump. I took exception to a comment from an ally. I justify nothing. You are trying to make an issue where none exists. Macron is wrong but we can just agree to disagree on the point which is what started the initial conversation.
I think long term Russia and Turkey are going to get into it. I do not think those two are on a path of working together.
She seemed genuinely disturbed by the fact people are dying because they can’t afford the drug. Imagine being so opposed to someone like her because they care.
Isn’t that the third or fourth separate note along those lines? I tend to believe it, as it’s one of the reasons he hates email.
Literally nothing in the blurbs from that book has illicited more than a shrug from me. It's. all. so. obvious.
Conservative provocateur Laura Loomer has raised more than $154,000 towards her congressional campaign in South Florida - more than $50,000 more than her opponent, incumbent Rep. Lois Frankel, The Palm Beach Post reported Thursday. Loomer, who has been banned from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Medium, Paypal, Venmo, GoFundMe, Uber and Lyft for Islamophobia or otherwise violating their terms of service, said that she was “humbled” by the support she had received. “Despite the radical left, big tech tyrants and the fake-news media doing everything they can to hinder my campaign, this early showing puts career politician Lois Frankel and the do-nothing-Democrats in Congress on notice that no seat is safe and that I’m running to win.” Loomer reportedly admitted in a fundraising email that one of her main motivations for running was because her status as a mainstream candidate would put pressure on Facebook and Twitter to un-ban her. Twitter permanently banned her last year as part of its purge of hate accounts; she was kicked off Uber and Lyft after tweeting that she ““never want to support another Islamic immigrant driver.” One of Loomer’s top donors is Steven Alembik, a Boca Raton businessman who once tweeted that former president Barack Obama was a “F——- MUSLIM N——-.” Alembik gave the $5,600 legal maximum to Loomer’s campaign. Loomer has also paid Alembik’s communications firm almost $10,000 for help with online fundraising, according to financial disclosure forms. Loomer and Frankel are both Jewish. Florida’s 21st district, which includes Palm Beach, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach, is considered a safe one for Democrats, and went 59%-39% to Hillary Rodham Clinton over Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. Frankel ran unopposed in 2018. When asked by The Palm Beach Post about the fundraising numbers, a Frankel spokesperson replied in an email, “Representative Frankel has been focused on constituent meetings and congressional duties.”
I know we know all of this, but the author does a pretty great job of painting a picture that may even be worse than what we think.
I actually think the fact that it is anonymous will help it get the message out about how erratic and dumb he is. It will get publicity because it’s anonymous and they can’t put a finger on who said it. Imo any bad book about him that gets attention is a good thing.
No. It being anonymous is some cowardly bullshit. A person gets to reap the rewards financially by writing the book but keeping his political clout
