Joined the club last week. Sup nerds? First game I bought after my week trial to Switch online for the NES and SNES games.
I'm going to get it, no doubt. Looks like the perfect dumb game to let me forget about life for an hour or 10.
Gotta be honest when I downloaded goose game I didn't know it was a puzzler. I just thought it was a pointless game where you are just an asshole goose. Don't get me wrong I like it...I just didn't know at first.
I pulled the trigger. It’s fun in and relaxing. haven’t played too much. Got get this kid in this fucking phone booth though. Don’t tell me
Anyone getting Witcher? I bought it at around the time I had my first kid, so I never had time to play past maybe 10 hours. Everyone always raves about the game, and it is getting great reviews (didn’t think the Switch would be powerful enough, but looks like it holds up well), so I think I will pull the trigger on physical copy sometime before Christmas.
Also looking to get it before Christmas. There’s some solid November titles dropping that I want to prioritize first. I got about 50 hours into Witcher the first time I played and my save file corrupted while transferring it to a newer Xbox. That really discouraged me from doing it all again at the time but I’ve dodged spoilers for several years now hoping to come back to it eventually.
I put my life on pause and beat both during that first two weeks they were on there. So much nostalgia.
the games are more like 85-90% the same rather than exactly the same version exclusive pokemon was always the reason in the past. but over time they started making larger changes between games. seems like there could be a few version exclusive gyms this time around, which means theres probably a good bit more too.
I think in this one it changes entire gyms; the speciality of the leaders depends on which version you’re playing. Changes up starter pokemon choice and team composition strategy a bit.
Yes, but also allows for strategic battles in the wild. Idk what the breeding mechanics are, but they’re the lifeblood of the meta game for the main series. Honestly, if you really get into it, it makes the main story an afterthought.
I am in shock that there is just so much cash lying around in this hotel for just anyone to vacuum up. I wish real life was like that.
Playing Luigi with my 5 y/o. He’s pretty skilled with the controller, but he isn’t very thorough with the game, so he always asks me to help. I end up backtracking all over the place trying to find what he missed. Even with that being my parameters for the game, it is pretty damn fun.
Picked up the Lion King/ Aladdin remaster for switch. Some of my favorite childhood memories were attempting to beat those games with my dad on the Genesis
Some mons are available only to the specific game. There were rumors that gyms could be different, but I don't know on that. I'm sure there's someone else that can tell you more.
I've tried reading about it, but it's really a lot of nothing. Different pokemons and possible different gyms, which means nothing to me because I don't know enough about the series. Haven't paid any attention to it since GameBoy Color days. A lot of people going with Sword.
Apparently a lot of jimmies have been rustled over the lack of a lot of species of Pokémon. That’s what the Pokebank is for brahs.
last night i got as far as picking the starting, resetting a few times to find a shiny, then giving up because they cutscene was too long to go through again, picked sobble, then passed out
Yeah, that would be pretty shitty. Have quite a number of formidable 5-6 perfect IV battlers saved on there.
They may succumb to community pressure and vow to make that happen. But Nintendo devs don’t typically support their games post-launch if they’re not broken, from what I’ve experienced.
How many new pokemon in this one? I get that theres a lot of old in there too but what we looking at for galar specifically.
Pokémon Sword and Shield news and features What we will tell you is that there's a total of 81 new species and 13 Galarian forms - making for a total of 94 new Pokémon and an overall total of 400 Pokemon.2 days ago
